I was banned the other day. I wrote a thread about it- http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/74jPEMrt-this-account-has-been-suspended-never-gotten-chat-restrict-or-ban I finally received a support ticket update to I could get details since I never actually got an email. This is what I am being told.

"Hello me,

My name is Riot Support from the Player Behavior team and I'm here to provide you with some context on your account. Let me see what I can do to assist you in this situation.

Your account was brought to our attention because of the recent behavior established on the account. We manually reviewed your case and determined that the interactions on the account was not acceptable. Multiple matches were reviewed prior to this decision. This includes berating others, intentional feeding, trolling, and refusing to cooperate with your team.

These are the logs. I am working up my current retort now. It will take awhile. I have already found the first but I will be taking screenshots of what I can from each one of these games as I believe I have them all recorded.

Telling someone to "grow up" is considered insulting.

All caps is yellling, and not sportsmanlike.

Threatening to report is bannable.

My list was options. I what was I have been observing when someone posts their chat logs and wonders why they were banned. I didn't say you cussed. I said I have seen it in other chat logs.

Do note that the punishment you received was done from your actions alone, not from others, which means any elaboration you did here (by giving us screenshots) is COMPLETELY USELESS.

Even the Rioter already said that you were already reported in multiple matches, not just this one, which includes trolling & intentional feeding.

Negative attitude, unsportsmanlike, and threatening to report (which is a ban-able offense). And you're seriously wondering why you got banned? Really?

i think your chat was extremely mild and not toxic and doesnt even warrant a 2 hour ban, let alone 2 weeks. i think its completely acceptable chat that if someone doesnt like they should just mute it

your chat was "mild". saying things like "play better please" or "grow up". that is extreme mild chat that people should simply "mute" if they dont like it, and it should not be bannable

however. riot apparently thinks what you wrote qualifies as toxic and bannable

so the solution is. never speak in game again

if riot thinks something so mild is toxic. then i would not risk typing in game anymore. any typing can get you banned and be used as justification for a ban

Also, if this is the case, should they not simply remove the chat? What purpose does it serve if you can get two week banned (not even a chat restriction) immediately for this?

I'm not sure why you're posting this. Many people assumed you were looking for insight into why you were banned, and they've tried to explain that, but instead of taking that as feedback, you're arguing with that. The problem is, most of the community--and, more importantly, Riot--are on their side. This behavior is beyond the pale, and if you continue it post-ban, you'll probably get banned again. Learn from what these posters are saying.

Low to moderate toxicity.

You are somewhat annoying but I wouldn't have manually permabanned you.... then again I went from zero to instant perma-ban for significantly less. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/Y0E4G0c6-my-chat-logs-that-brought-me-from-zero-to-instant-perma-ban-in-my-personal-opinion-riot-was-wrong

Going from zero to perma-ban should be something reserved for the most extreme levels of toxicity as Riot has stated numerous times. You do not qualify and yet you suffered the punishment anyway. Incidents like this are what have caused me to lose faith in Riot.... my permaban was overturned and I recommend that if you are not lying (I.e. you were truly at zero punishment tier) you put in a support ticket and ask for a case review.

There is a chance your case can be overturned as well. I hope it is because you are not the type of player I want to see gone, the human garbage that I am sometimes matched with that is flaming nonstop right from champ select and yet is ever-present is who I want gone, ban THOSE guys... not a guy that is just mildly annoying when bad things happen.

Furthermore, I don't tell ppl when I mute them. I just mute them. Idk if that is part of what got you suspended.
