Explain to me again why I am not allowed to afk/feed when i am being flamed?

I am confused, they are allowed to but I am not? [zombie-brand-mindblown] no, I don't want to hear that "just report them or mute them" reply. I got told this for trying to ff again and again since it was 4v5 most of the game. I was 6/7 and had the most cs in game/second most gold on my team. I didn't say one thing the entire game. This "reformed" thing is way to hard.

hell, I think even if I never afk, fed or flamed EVER again on a new account I would get banned because of people like this, yesterday I got false reported 3 times, 2 for playing kalista basically, and one game w/ twitch because I sucked.

because you're stooping to their level. just mute them even if you're so tired of hearing that and then try your best to win until 20 then ff at 20 if it feels hopeless.

Except most feeders/afkers refuse to ff so you're stuck with either wasting another 10-15 mins. or getting a leave game yourself.

I can barley handle to 20 but if it's 20-0 and they don't ff we have a fucking problem.

I don't get topics like this. Especially wth the first question you propose. If anyone reads the ToS/summoner code you would know that what they are doing isn't allowed. Unless you can show me evidence that they are allowed to flame you cannot assume that because they do that it's allowed. That makes no sense.

But to answer your question (as everyone has said in this topic) you can't afk because that's against the rules. That moment you hit play and choose the mode you play you are making a commitment that you will finish the game. Of course there are some people who don't care for the rules,or think they can get away with it.but then if that happens it's our job to make sure we report them. Some people don't use that because they believe it doesn't help,when they are basically the reasons why these people aren't punish.

Riot doesn't have some magical power to know when very single person is breaking the rules.this is why we have the report option, as well as why we had the Tribunal. To help with making the community better. But then if you leave the game you basically cannot report te people in our game thus they are basically getting a free pass because you aren't doing your job. Whereas the leavebuster system can detect you leaving because you did. The fact of the matter is that we need you to do your part.

You are judged by YOUR own behavior, Doesn't matter if they triggered you or flamed you cause at the end of the day you are responsible for your own actions.

Doesn't matter if it was self defense, you lead by example, and showing negative and unsportsmanlike behaviors is your doing, not theirs.

IF you don;t want to be reported, you basically had to have stayed under the radar in RIOT terms.

No swearing or spamming in chat No racial slurs no inciting a report no intentional feeding no leaving or disconnecting no afk no revealing allied locations to the enemy team

win or lose, even if they reported you, they would have no grounds for anything.

You are judged by your actions, not by how many of your peers reported you.

but yeah, end of the day, its much easier to ""just report them or mute them"

False reports mean nothing if you're not at fault. Playing a champion, it doesn't matter which it is or where you do it as long as your trying to win with it, is not an offense. Doing badly in a match is also not an offense.

I know you might be tired of hearing it, but.. Ignore/Mute those types of players. THEY are the one at fault and should be reported accordingly, because not only did they threaten you with a report, they were directly insulting you during it. Threatening to report someone falls under verbal abuse. Calling someone 'garbage' falls under verbal abuse.

Edit: I guess i forgot to answer the title question. AFKing and feeding makes no progress in diffusing a toxic situation. It can only make it worse for everyone involved.

Barring the event where you are stuck with a 4 man premade that is ALL flaming you and being toxic, you're still ruining the game for at least one person on your team aside from yourself. Also, you're letting them self-justify their bullshit. "Oh look, the random fed. Oh, he's trolling. OF course! We always get trolls."

Just take teh high road.

Still not the best reaction, but at least you're not screwing over anyone blameless. I wouldn't really give you props for afk or feeding when stuck with a team like that, but I'd kinda understand.

The more mature thing to do would be to play the game normally so the endgame stats show that you tried your hardest and weren't a toxic animal. That way they're more likely to get punished and you're not part of the problem of toxicity in league.

That said, I got a temper sometimes and I understand the anger you get when some premade decided to abuse you for no freakin reason. Hell, even if they have a reason it's an obnoxious thing to deal with. I'd suggest you use /mute all pretty frequently and always play to win. Don't flame. Don't rage. Don't afk or feed. Take the high road. League isn't gonna get better if people make excuses to troll or feed or act toxic, even if they're provoked or it's justified.

how do I not rage when something like this happen: http://prnt.sc/d1rghx my team feds the shit out of kat which I was playing against, no one expect me builds MR(expect bronzecrank at the end) so she is just jumping in and killing everyone in 1 second. don't need to say anything about the jger. jinx was in and out of afk making the usual bullshit lag excuses. and again, garen is full armor against a ultra fed kat. that is of course just from the picture. not including what actually happened.

this was one of the hardest games ever to not rage. Now don't get me wrong I am definitely no faker at the game but jesus christ

You think you're the only mid laner who's held their own against Kat only to have her roam and become a monster?

Yeah, it sucks and it's frustrating, but you don't have to vent your anger in the chat. Fume about it after the game to your friends (or on the boards), but in game point out ways to turn it around. "Fizz, Abyssal will help you survive against Kat and help your damage" works fine. If he doesn't respond, repeat it again a little later, then drop it. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

it was low elo I was expecting her to ult me so I could ult her but I guess she wasn't that brain dead sadly. nothing happened mid

I stopped talking in chat completely. best I could do is spam G on my item 3156 100 times and hopefully they could understand. but stupid me.

Yeah... games are lost every day. Sometimes it's your fault. Sometimes it's your team's fault. Sometimes the mid roams and gets fed. Sometimes the top refuses to group ever and tosses away a strong lead "splitpushing". Sometimes your jungler repeatedly ganks a failing lane giving up double kills and snowballing the enemy. Shit happens.

Ya gotta roll with the punches and deal. If you're upset, take some time off from playing. If your teammates do something stupid, say so.... but not in chat. Don't be part of the problem. It's hard. It's REALLY hard.

I lost a game just recently because after 35 minutes of back and forth in a VERY even game, our team's jungler jumped into four people randomly when our team was in NO POSITION to help him. (Two of us were clearing a wave bot lane) There was no reason for him to do it. The enemy didn't even know he was there, so it's not like he got caught. They weren't taking an objective he was trying to save. Nothing. He wasn't even trolling, he'd been doing pretty ok all game and while he'd gone ham a lot it had worked out pretty well and gotten a few of us ahead. Then at 35 minutes he decides to just throw the game jumping into a fight he can't possibly win for no real reason. They IMMEDIATELY baron, then rush our base turrets, dive them, win the 4v5 and end game. BAM. Done. All off one bonehead choice made in a game that easily could have gone either way. It is INFURIATING to be in that spot...

But you can't rage. Don't be part of the problem. Don't spew toxic crap in chat. Don't demand reports. Don't even touch chat. Don't tell them they're bad. Don't do any of it. Either brush it off and play a new game, or take a break if you're too tilted over the loss. It's never worth getting bent out of shape over. Never. And nothing good ever comes from acting like a rager or a jerk to other people. No... not even if they "deserve" it.

ok so I was able to play a few games w/o flaming and getting flamed w/ saying anything so I think i can do it so I bought a new account with a bunch of stuff on it since my main account with all my skins is gone and will keep it this time and won't flame and will try and keep it that way.

Actually, Erdrik is correct here.

A report flags a game for review. They do not establish guilt. The game is then reviewed for harassment, feeding, etc. This is why 'troll reporting' or 'gang reporting' do not work. False or inaccurate reports are thrown out.

You cannot ever be punished for saying nothing .. unless of course it's for something gameplay related like feeding, afking or cheating. But, you can never be punished for offensive language, hate speech or verbal abuse if you said nothing.

No, they're not "allowed" to flame you. Report them.
Mute them. It's still the right thing to do regardless of if you don't want to hear it.
False reports get thrown out. You'll get a pop-up telling you you've been reported if you've been getting reported a lot lately, but that's not an indication of the reports counting against you.

riot got rid of this a long time ago because trolls woud get the popup when they were still in loby and "counter report" people
