To those who were banned for third party apps

Seriously stop posting on the forums,

You will get flamed, and nothing will come to help out of that.

I understand you are upset any one would be but you got to understand that Riot, Banned you for Third party apps. This DOESNOT mean you cheated. This means riot found a third party app While your data mine records from league detected.

This means a 3rd party app was detected, IT doesn't mean you were cheating. Third Party apps can very in any thing from Skin apps, Damage meters, Map changers, music players, any thing that changes the UI ( different colors, Icons, menu alterations) and so on.

So yea you were using a third party app to cheat, or to script play. maybe using it to just change the view or simply add different music or sounds

That is still a Third party application that riot did not approve

which warrants them to ban you .

NOW!

If you are confident you had NOTHING on your machine open a ticket, If that doesn't solve any thing, Take it to the Better business burrow and report them If that doesn't solve it take it to small claims

Riot has to show you the evidence to prove you had a third party app and tell you what it was. or else its unlawful seizure. ( learned this while I played Evony and they did the same thing)

BUT! do not ask riot the application they will not tell you unless they have to because in many cases some of you ( not all of you) did cheat.. and that means that if they told you what the application was, they can spread that around and then others can fix it, Adjust it and improve it so its no longer detected.

If I had to guess though

There is a third party app that is incommon with a lot of you people who got popped that is in common that riot was specifically looking for that got you all popped.

Riot has to show you the evidence to prove you had a third party app and tell you what it was. or else its unlawful seizure.

The Terms state that Riot may deny access to accounts at their discretion.

2.1.2. Us.We may terminate or suspend your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that: (a) you have violated any part of this Agreement; (b) we have stopped offering the Riot Services in your region; or (c) doing so would be in the best interests of our community, the Riot Services, or the rights of a third party. We may make such determinations, among other ways, by using automated systems and machine learning tools.

Nowhere does it state that they must show evidence to you.

ITs not going to show it there simply because they don't have to put that clause in the legal forms. Because they can't put " We can take your account away, and not tell you why"

sAme way with any type of punishment you are given the right to prove your innocents but again.. you have to take the action to prove it..

Is your 300 dollars account let say worth taking it to court to argue.?

The "300 dollar account" is not worth anything.

You have no ownership or other property interest in any of the Virtual Goods you unlock, regardless of whether you acquired access to those Virtual Goods using Riot Points, Influence Points or Hextech Crafting. Virtual Goods have no monetary value. You can’t redeem them for cash. You can’t obtain any refunds for purchasing Riot Points or Virtual Goods, except as expressly permitted by us. So you would be taking Riot to court over something that isn't yours.

Because they can't put " We can take your account away, and not tell you why"

That's what "in our sole discretion" means. They make the decision and no one else is required to know.

oh this isn't me I can care less I don't put any thing on this computer that isn't a game..

if it was me and Iost my account? its my fault.

I installed the app I went with it knowing it could get me banned Thus I deserve it

SO for me personally I would just move on or build a new account

for everyone else i'm just throwing this info out there for.

Riot reserves the right to ban anyone they want. So even if you were to get wrongfully banned, you cannot sue them for it, under any circumstances. Even if you lost a lot of value from the ingame content you bought, you still agreed to those terms when you did so. No unlawful seizure. You agreed that Riot does not have to show you anything.

correct the account is not yours it's riots. But because you are spending money on it they can't just unjust cause take it from you with out a reason.

BUt riot also has the riot to not disclose information that they feel could threaten their game ( example the apps name so that users can quickly clear it off and get away with it or what not)

simply put if riot found some thing if you take it up the channels you can probably find out what it is. legally

but who wants to spend thousands on a court case.

They actually can take it for no reason, it's in the Terms. They don't literally do it for no reason though, it says that so players can't find loopholes to cheat and be toxic with no possibility of repercussion.

Someone wouldn't take their case to a court anyway, it would be arbitrated by a neutral third party (JAMS). It would only go to court after that.

Right Technically you could take it to court. and at most get your "UNSpent" money back

but as for every thing else they can keep it.

NOw yea you spent 300 dollars and now you only have 15 dollars of unspent riot points.

Unspent Riot points is not unspent money.

Any who I've spent enough time on this posting, honestly only posted it to help those who were crying about their accounts being banned. and posted some thing to try to be helpful. But Meh what I get for trying to be supportive I guess.

Either way.. like I said doesn't effect me or bother me cause I still got my account and I don't use third party apps.

as for those others tried to give advice and that was that so meh i'm out PEACE!
