Toxic Premades are dangerous.
Yep. Call me a snowflake. I was the jungler. I just don't like how this Duo trashed my top laner all game.
I was not the object of their flames, yet, it affected me and everyone in that game.
I, along with my duo, could see the game as winnable all the way up until the inhibs fell, yet a late game bloomer in bot lane along with support in tow called the game "GG we lose" before team fights even started. I feel the goal here was to goad the top laner into a flame war, but all it did was make him say "I'm tilted" a few times (good for him). My duo said he reported him for intentionally feeding. I, on the other hand, saw things for what they really were, and reported the Duo for flaming and causing him to tilt in the first place.
Toxic premades are dangerous. They have strength in numbers and can use two people to recruit more onto their side (as with what happened to my Duo, they only saw the points that the toxic duo made and figured they were right, which is easy to do if you're really good at paying attention to the map and whats going on in the game.).
The issue I am presenting and attacking is that toxic premades seem to view themselves as "Safe" from punishment and feel they have the freedom to disrespect whoever they want at no risk. I think there should be a way to prevent toxic duo's from duoing again together if they have been found as having consistently negative impact on games. I am NOT saying they should both be banned together. I suggest that they be prevented from playing with one another again (ban the ability to duo with that summoner in addition to what normally what happen i.e. chat restriction, 14-day).
What would this accomplish?
It is similar to the disbandment of a team who plays together. The "team" is banned, not the players. The players will answer for their actions as individuals as usual. If one member of said duo is not toxic but the other is, both members should get first a warning (giving the non-toxic half the opportunity to see if it is wise to continue duoing with the other half/other members), and on the second or third offense, all players of that premade should get the final message in some way that communicates just that the group or team is barred from playing with one another in Matchmade Queues. After that, apply restrictions or punishments as you normally would if they are just.
Being ganged up on by multiple people is not fun. Even 2 people can make 1 person feel like they are not apart of the team, as often times, even 1 person can bring others around to their view on the person. It is neither fair to the person to be singled or criticized nor to the other members of the team who may see value in said player still, but wont get their 100% participation due to tilting or otherwise.
