I feel morally hurt here...

As my account is been censored in EUW for some reason. This one and the one I am using to play with (havent posted with it, but it got censored for literally 0 reason), I decided to share my chat log here, for the 2 weeks ban I magically deserved, from literally the two games in which my teammates, verbally and vulgarly abused me whole match. True I am chatting and annoying. I even told my Mao in the first game to stop defending me, because it's pointless. But saying that this is deserving a 2 weeks ban, while 4 other people are constantly calling you are "troll" a "retard" or an "idiot" and spamming "report Kata" isnt punishable, is just sad. For the record, both games i'm playing Katarina. when i wrote "i blame kata" i ironized myself. Not someone else. Me and me alone. True I did blame random factors in the game which were and still are unfair, but that's still not ban worth. Here's the logs.

For the record, if the full log was here (enemy + teammate chat) you'd see that Im not even all that chatting in either of the games... Im actually the silent one.

P.S Just noticed there's a 3rd game! Oh dear Im so toxic in it... especially when people who literally went under enemy towers and flamed me for not "helping them", while I'm on the other end of the map.

P.S2, Forgive the grammar, I write poorly while playing as I write way too fast and errors tend to happen.

Edit: I just realized I actually had 25 games chat ban for 2 out of the 3 games already, which makes it even more annoying.

Just because the other four people are flaming you does not mean that it is okay to flame them back, or take your anger out on the enemy team. What you say is entirely your responsibility. If you cannot deal with your teammates insulting you, mute them. You don't need to hear what they're saying in order to report them, and if they're flaming you, chances are they're not using the chat for constructive purposes like giving advice or making calls, so you won't be losing out on much if you mute. Just rely on pings.

This is you acting peeved. It's nothing that would get you any punishment alone, but you're still being impolite to your teammates. Coupled with the rest of the stuff you said in-game, it's understandable.

This one is mean. You're insulting Xerath's skill. Yes, you're being toxic here, especially the part where you say "OH sorry, hurt poor Xeraths feelings ;(". That sentence is just so vitriolic, and you are trying to purposefully enrage Xerath there. Not cool.

You just continue to say sarcastic or negative remarks when you should have muted your allies a long time ago. You need to realize that replying snidely to your allies is unacceptable, even if they are flaming you. You are completely responsible for your own actions. You acted toxically, so you were banned for toxicity.

Yeah, you're totally right. Why shouldn't I get banned for pointing out where they failed while blaming me for it. I mean their feeling so more important than that mean evil Katarina. How dare she speaks to them with sarcasm and trying to show how they failed so maybe, they can realize it and don't repeat it again. Oh wait, they don't even care... they just keep throwing insults while totally ignoring what I say. Funny. My mother is fine and well, but you cant see how our Braum wished her to die over 11 times and yet I am the punished one for giving a sarcastic remark on his gameplay.

Well... Guess I'll just stay on my offline games, online gaming really is toxic and it doesnt realize it. And best part it calls sarcasm toxic while their "puffed up" behaviour is times worse...

Please calm down! I just pointed out some of the toxic things that you said (because you asked why you were banned) and didn't really consider your feelings while writing. I don't think you're the worst person in the world, but I wanted to show you that you were banned for a reason. Sorry.

I don't want you to lose your account. I want your behavior to improve. Remember, when people are flaming you, they're being terrible people. Do not bring yourself down to their level by flaming back. You need to show that you're better than them by replying politely back or not replying at all.

I am not a good person and I dislike been fake, aka polite for no reason. MY behaviour is just different, improvement? You mean becoming one of the majority? So what makes me different and unique and been myself, must die? Yeah imagine, even ruthless people like me or Katarina herself have some soft of feelings. I dislike getting humiliated, because someone else fucks up or disagrees with my pick. The system is suppose to protect people's personality and the same time to remove the actual game breakers or cheaters. But instead, the actual toxic people are seen as casuals, because they are simple jerks, that come here, offending and humiliating me for no reason. But same time it sees me toxic as fuck, because I simple use sarcasm towards them. Why is sarcasm learned in school if it's considered toxic if I may ask? Why was once sarcasm considered the language of the intelligent and now it's just a way of been called a dick or and asshole?

Yeah, I'm pissed off at the moment. Because after my last match ,which is game number 2. I expected to get messages that people were getting punished, as till the end of the game I hardly held myself of not breaking my mouse and just leaving my home out to break something. Because I got humiliated and abused in such a drastic way, both team and enemy. Getting punished for someone else's sins. At the moment even single downvote I get is hurting me more and more, every single person coming here, with their puffed up ignorant behaviour, only seen me as "casual flamer", instead of understanding me, feeds this pain more. No I aint weak minded I wont go commit suicide or murder someone. I'll just sleep it over, sure I might curse a bit. But yet, this game is just breaking my heart more and more. This community as well. Playing since season one and I still don't know why I have such blind loyalty to Katarina. Yeah, Katarina. Not Riot. Not the game, but to her. I keep losing account after account, over her.

You know what, never mind. I'll just make a new account once again. Because I'm an idiot, who wont learn a lesson and will keep coming back because of that blood redhead, well untill the new lore comes out and totally destroys who she is... right? And yes, i will lose my account the moment I get unbanned. I play exotic picks as Katarina jungle and support. People report me just for that. And there was a recent thread by Riot, who will be starting to consider this as "trolling", just because it's off meta. And they wont care if Im actually good at it and win as it, instead they'll listen to the flamers who just blame/hate me for doing it and refuse to play proper.

So do you still think you can help me keep my account in any way, except of it finally getting this negative off itself. I doubt it. No matter what I do, this account is gone. Nothing will help it. The next one will get banned as well, exactly when I reach level 30, the first ranked game and it will start eating the bans. How did it happen that I didnt get a single ban on this one for the period level 1 to 30, even if I did it for months. And now suddenly in 1 month i ate 3.

Whatever... I'll just enjoy my downvotes.

Why was once sarcasm considered the language of the intelligent and now it's just a way of been called a dick or and asshole?

Yeah, I'm pissed off at the moment. Because after my last match ,which is game number 2. I expected to get messages that people were getting punished, as till the end of the game I hardly held myself of not breaking my mouse and just leaving my home out to break something. Because I got humiliated and abused in such a drastic way, both team and enemy. Getting punished for someone else's sins. At the moment even single downvote I get is hurting me more and more, every single person coming here, with their puffed up ignorant behaviour, only seen me as "casual flamer", instead of understanding me, feeds this pain more. No I aint weak minded I wont go commit suicide or murder someone. I'll just sleep it over, sure I might curse a bit. But yet, this game is just breaking my heart more and more. This community as well. Playing since season one and I still don't know why I have such blind loyalty to Katarina. Yeah, Katarina. Not Riot. Not the game, but to her. I keep losing account after account, over her.

You know what, never mind. I'll just make a new account once again. Because I'm an idiot, who wont learn a lesson and will keep coming back because of that blood redhead, well untill the new lore comes out and totally destroys who she is... right? And yes, i will lose my account the moment I get unbanned. I play exotic picks as Katarina jungle and support. People report me just for that. And there was a recent thread by Riot, who will be starting to consider this as "trolling", just because it's off meta. And they wont care if Im actually good at it and win as it, instead they'll listen to the flamers who just blame/hate me for doing it and refuse to play proper.

So do you still think you can help me keep my account in any way, except of it finally getting this negative off itself. I doubt it. No matter what I do, this account is gone. Nothing will help it. The next one will get banned as well, exactly when I reach level 30, the first ranked game and it will start eating the bans. How did it happen that I didnt get a single ban on this one for the period level 1 to 30, even if I did it for months. And now suddenly in 1 month i ate 3.

Okay, so the reason to be polite is to avoid offending other people. "Being polite for no reason" doesn't really make sense, because there's always a reason to be polite; to avoid offending other people. Now, if you are a person who by nature is "not good", then you don't need to suck up to your teammates every game, but you still need to avoid hurting their feelings, for the same reason why you don't like people hurting your feelings. It's not the right thing to do. You don't need to be like the majority, you just need to understand that retaliating to toxic behavior is not right, because then you're just as bad as the toxic people who incited you. Sarcasm is fine when you're not using it to be spiteful. Sarcasm can be great for joking around! Just don't use it when you're trying to insult someone. As for the downvotes, people use them liberally on the Boards, especially in banned Player Behavior and Moderation cases. Don't take them too seriously, people aren't using them correctly in your case. They're supposed to be used when a post does not create meaningful discussion. Your post does create some discussion. No, Riot reversed their decision on the Nunu case. Just because you're not directly insulting people or your insults are as harsh does not mean that what you do is unpunishable. You have had multiple games where you have said some rule-breaking things, so the system punished you. EDIT: You are directly insulting people though. You called someone blind and said that your teammate was doing 0. The system likely is not taking your behavior as seriously as someone who wishes death upon others. Those people would most likely be punished faster.

Secondly, how do you know that most people are reporting you for where you play Katarina? Many people are quiet about their reports. You could be getting lots of reports for Harassment or Negativity and the people could just not say anything about it. Furthermore, you were banned for toxicity, not stealing roles, which is proof that the toxicity reports are sticking but the reports for your troll pick are not. You will not be banned for playing Katarina jungle or Katarina support if you are given those roles and you play Katarina.

It's not just your sarcasm. It's the fact that your sarcasm is malicious, and that you're being negative, and that you're being mean to your allies and enemies. You are doing it excessively and across multiple games. That is why you are being punished for it. If it was only one game or two games, you most likely would not be punished. Those people will be punished for their insults if it is a consistent thing with them, or if they have a couple really bad games. Your reports will not necessarily get them punished right away, but be assured that those people will be punished if they continue to act in the manner they acted towards you.

You said you don't steal roles, and I believe you. Riot believes you too. That is why you were not punished by Riot for stealing other people's roles, you were punished for toxicity. All those reports that you got about playing something too off-meta were ineffectual. The only reports that mattered were the ones for toxicity, since those were legitimate and the reports for off-meta were not.

I know you don't want your behavior to be punished, but if I were one of your allies, I would be hurt if you talked that way to me, and that's grounds for Riot to punish you, because you are being toxic by further creating a negative environment for other players. You are being malicious in your speech to combat the toxicity of other players, but that's not how Riot wants you to deal with problems. Instead of fighting toxicity with toxicity and making the situation worse, just mute and report at the end of the game so that the Instant Feedback System can do its work, or use your charisma and talk the person down politely and report at the end of the game nonetheless. If you don't think you can be charismatic and polite in the situation, please mute the flamers. Don't try to be a vigilante and hurt the feelings of the flamers, because it's not up to you to dole out justice. That is the IFS's job.

You're attacking a straw man. I don't want you to care for the flamer's feelings, but I don't want you to attack them either, because when you do that you are just creating an even more toxic situation. When you do not respond or you politely cool down the situation, you are bringing the tension down. Everyone wants you to be an upstanding player who does not give in to fighting with trolls, so be that way! When you fight with trolls, you are just giving them what they want. They want you to fight with them and get punished. Don't do that!

This whole logic is stupid. I don't attack anyone and I don't offend anything. I just have self respect and respect to my own skill, which I am protecting myself and for myself alone. If you were my teammate and I was sarcastic towards you in a defensive matter, it means you abused me in a way, which will trigger this defensive speech towards you. If you feel offended by it or taken down, you should attempt to think what actually made me do it the first place and if you don't deserve it. As this whole system doesn't work correct and it punishes self defense and not actual offense. Plus 2 of the 3 games shown are literally the same i was shown when I got my chat restricts. So the so call constant toxic behavior isn't really that much especially knowing that I play max 2 games a day, except the day on my ban where I had 5 games in which I didn't argue or anything with anyone except the last one that was shown as ban reason in which I got drastically abused by both team and enemy just for going off meta. So dont come here and claim how the system works as it should. Because I will start a new account anyway and I will have to level it up with the real toxic people. Fun part is, when I do it I feel like every sees me as the trash that I meet there. It's offending me to be considered at the same level as they guy who wishes new players death for losing to a smurf. And crap like that. So yeah your logic and lyte's pro systems logic is stupid and totally NOT doing what it should. 10 bucks I can give you an example of a system that will work way better for all players and newbies. Because the current one makes newbies to quit as they see no point to level up with toxic dushbags

It's also not just about you attacking people, but you creating a negative environment. You are very negative in all the pieces chat logs I posted.

Let's not mistake self-defense for retaliation. You're not defending yourself, you're attacking back. There is a big difference between defending and attacking back. You can defend your play, but you cannot attack back by insulting other people. When you attack, both you and the flamer are at fault. When you defend yourself, the system can only punish the flamer.

The system does work how it should. It is punishing you for further supporting the growth of a toxic environment in-game. Had you not retaliated, the situation would not have escalated. Those people would have gotten reported by you, and been one step closer to being punished, or have gotten punished immediately, and you would not be sitting here with this ban. When you respond to trolls, you are just making the situation worse. Don't do it! I know it is against your morals, but you need to realize that retaliation is not the correct course of action in this situation.

The system doesn't work if I get provoked and I get punished but the provoked goes laughing at me when he plays a game and I am banned. Do you realize how stupid you sound when you say I deserve it but he's excuses because I returned it in way less offensive way. This is one huge jest going on here and I can't believe that anyone actually belive this is a working system...

No, you're not worse, but you're both in the wrong. You're distorting my words. I never said you started a war, I said you took part in the war instead of taking the correct course of action, which would be not to partake.

I literally never said that the flamer was excused. Tell me where I said the flamer was excused. You are both at fault. The flamer is at fault for starting it and you are at fault for retaliating.

You assumed that they would get punished off of that game alone. Not everyone is punished off of one game. You were not punished off of one game, you were punished off of several. The players whom you reported did not receive enough legitimate reports for your report to be the tipping point. They might have gotten punished in the game directly afterwards, you do not know. Even if they were punished, they might not have made threads here because they don't know about the Boards or care about using the Boards. Maybe they realized their punishments were justified and did not try to contend them.

Or maybe they just flew off in your games, but in reality are upstanding members of the community. Maybe a family member died and they're taking their anger out in League. You can't know that kind of stuff. This is why it takes multiple games to ban a player. You have shown a consistent trend for toxic behavior, so your accounts have been banned after a few games.

Just because that they did not post here is not at all proof that the system did not take your report as legitimate. Your report is most definitely legitimate if the players did what you said they did. It just wasn't the report to get the toxic players punished.

Were you punished recently with a chat restriction? While there is a bit of arguing here with your team, it doesn't necessarily seem like the type of logs that would escalate an account directly to the 14 day temporary suspension. However, if you were given a chat restriction, the next level of punishment is the 14 day ban. In case you weren't aware, there are four tiers of punishment:

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14 day temporary suspension
  4. permanent suspension

Each time a player is considered in need of punishment, they are bumped to the next tier. It is possible, in the case of excessive toxicity, or use of hate speech, or for some of the non-chat related infractions for a player to skip the chat restrictions and move directly to a 14 day suspension. But your logs don't actually seem bad enough to warrant jumping tiers, especially not for EUW. There is a lot of negativity, and you are arguing with your team a fair bit, but this is more along the lines of something that would warrant a chat restriction, unless you were already at that tier. If you were, that would be why you were given the suspension.

Up until the permanent suspension, it is possible for a player to "work" their account back into good standing, basically by playing games and not demonstrating negative behavior. The higher the punishment tier, the longer it takes to do though. For someone at the 14 day suspension, it can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 7-8 months, depending on whether the player is still being reported.

What you will want to keep in mind, is that from this point, your next punishment tier is a permanent suspension of your account. So if you don't want to lose your account, you might want to strongly considering muting your team at the first signs of any complaints or flaming. If they start to say something to you, mute them and report them after the game. DO NOT reply to them.

4 other people are constantly calling you are "troll" a "retard" or an "idiot" and spamming "report Kata" isnt punishable

Them saying that is not okay, and it very much so IS punishable. The problem is that so many people get wrapped up in retaliating that they stop being an innocent victim, and start being another guilty party. It's harassment for people to call you these things, or to repeatedly call for reports against you, and all you have to do is click the report button after the game.

Please, please, please, for your own sake, try to not say anything back to them in the future. It will take at least 2 months of regularly playing to work yourself down from the 14 day suspension tier, to where your next punishment won't be an automatic permanent suspension.

Yes, the first two punishments are the chat restrictions. I believe they give you 5 messages to begin the match. I'm not positive, but I think they also get an additional message every few minutes? I've never had one, so I'm not certain on that.

At one time, Riot considered allowing people to simply continue earning more chat restrictions, rather progressing directly to a suspension. This was in place for a short time, and people were ending up with hundreds of games worth of chat restrictions, and would simply resort to trolling and intentionally feeding as a way to express their toxicity at their teammates. As such, Riot decided to discontinue that practice and put in a more noticeable consequence, i.e. the suspension.

These people clearly dont get punished if they can abuse all chat so directly. You clearly missed the part which I wrote that I had 25 restricts for 2 of the 3 games given for this punishment. And this is my 5th account which I lose ,after getting abused myself, by other people and yet my sarcastic remarks or unhappiness with the game balance itself were considered way more toxic. This account is done. The moment it gets unbanned and I play 5 games, no matter if I use the chat or not it's done. Clearly I'm getting punished for playing Katarina jungle and support even if Im doing a perfectly fine job, if not better than an actual support champion. These chat logs are just a lame excuse to punish me. I showing 10 times more toxic behavior in Overwatch and all I've gotten was 2 chat bans for literally 24h, just so I can cool off as blizzard call it. In CSGO or Payday 2, I havent been punished even for a single second.

I don't ruin games for anyone, people with their toxic behaviour and constant blamming on my champion for the exotic lane, ruins my games as they constantly troll me, by refusing to teamplay. I had 4 deaths in one of the games because my ADC didnt want to heal me. And if he had used his heal he would of gotten a double kill each time, instead he preffered if I died and him to lose any kills at all which is intentionally lossing a game.

I truly hate when I get punished for THAT. Yeah, I'm chatty... but I'm chatting over balance which is obviously fixable, but yet nobody cares. I rarely care for others and their opinion until they dont get drastic on me with their "noob/troll/report" bullshit. So I dont see how you expect me to NOT get reported for 8 MONTHS, if I'll get reported literally my first game after the 2 weeks for playing Katarina support or jungle. No matter if I win or not. Or I'll simply get reported for scripting. I am always going to get that one report. So this account is done, finished. Dead. Same as my main which got banned 2 years ago, which existed since season 1. There will go my second account which i use as a forum account here at the moment.

And yeah, EUW is toxic as hell, but I get less punishing in the NA server or boards, while just defending Katarina once in the EUW boards, won me a censorship on ALL my accounts for life in the EUW boards, while here I got the free power of writing my fanfiction and defending Katarina all I want, with just been told when I get a bit too aggressive to calm down and that it's not "A warning or punishment, just the post was a bit too aggressive so it will get removed, no matter if you were right or not".

This is a double standard and I am really getting annoyed of it. I don't mind making one last account, but if that one gets censored like that again, for been wanting to play my champion the way I want to and not the way "proes" play it, it will be the end of me and LoL. Wasted enough money on rebuying all Katarina skins all the time. Wasted enough years getting abused in so many ways. No matter how mature i get, how right I am. The punishment stays on me, and nobody else.
