Idk venting

The people who play this game sometimes...idk, I just don't know.

I was just playing ARAM as Riven and I took a HP pack because I was in front of a Sona who had apparently also wanted it. I dont play Riven a lot, she's melee and I need health in order to dive. She pings me a bunch and tells me to stop stealing health. I told her she's a Sona with a built in heal and it's not my fault she didn't take clarity or build mana items in order for her to use her heal. I didn't swear at her, didn't make fun of her, etc. She says I'm being negative and she will report. Okay whatever I just wont communicate with her, that's fine.

Nothing happens for 8 more minutes until suddenly in all chat "Report Riven negative" from Sona & Thresh who I assume were a duo.

Lolwut. At that point I had stopped taking hp packs all together too.

I ask them to tell me what I said that justifies a report and they go "It's your actions". Umm okay. I ended 12/6. I wasn't inting, I wasn't saying anything toxic, I wasn't kill stealing, and I wasn't even taking more health packs. I had taken 1 hp pack early in the game around 5 minutes or so. Meanwhile Sona's only mana item was the Guardians Orb. Like dude, build mana and then you can heal yourself and have mana instead of concerning yourself over other people needing HP packs too, who are actually divers and need to be in the middle of the fight.

I know their reports wont actually count towards anything but damn that kind of shit is annoying and I guess I just wanted to vent a little. This type of behavior seems to happen pretty often, where if someone doesn't like how you're playing you're deemed toxic and worthy of a report.

If this thread isn't allowed its fine to delete it, wont be sour about that.

It sounds like you really weren't in the wrong if everything you mentioned was true. If that exact situation were to happen to me personally, I probably would have reported them after the end of the game and detailed how they were trying to create a negative experience for me in all chat over a single health pack that I felt justified to taking. I've seen much worse behavior when it comes to taking health packs, when people literally didn't need to take it, but wanted to take it so that you couldn't... for example, you had 10% health and they had 70% health, and they were 2 steps closer to the health than you and decided to take both of them... and guess what... this happened to me yesterday! If they truly reported you, I'm sure they'll be labeled as false reports. If you feel like they created an overwhelming negative experience for you, then I'd go ahead and submit a ticket describing their behavior, as I'm assuming you're not still in the after game lobby.

Being courteous with health packs has either gotten teammates killed or health packs stolen. I hate it, but when in doubt, I'd rather be greedy with them. That being said, it'd do Sona more good since she would replenish mana, which in turn positively affects health of allies.

well they were rude to you. health packs, especially the outer ones i always expect to be first come first served unless there is complete control of that part of the map. and you were right the sona could've built more mana regeneration, personally sona on aram i take clarity 100% of the time for that mana.

sona and thresh were being whinny jerks. and at least their reports did nothing
