Leagues Off Meta Phobic Community

I have had a bad set of games today, and everyone does, but I was wondering why the current players of league are so afraid of anything against the meta that the pro's have not made viable. I'm not going to quit league (I love the game), but I don't want to be forced into a meta outside of ranked games. I understand that ranked mode is competitive so I would not really do anything there, but the player base in dynamic or blind que just seem to hate off meta picks to the core, they hate on you if you do bad before they hate on the bad jungler because the junglers pick is with the meta. This kind of scapegoat toxicity against people who go off meta is something I would like to see dealt with just a little, maybe even dealt with permanently, I just want a more accepting community and not people who through a fit because someone had an Idea and just got a bad pick.

Off meta is fine, report the trolls who tilt and intentionally feed/afk when u pick jungle teemo. Its not you, its them. If u want to win all games though learn to Jungle Khazix , low level players can't handle him

Like you said, this game gets competitive. People often hate losing, and because of that any pick that doesn't immediately seem viable for them can put them on tilt. But at its core, playing off meta picks is fine and should be encouraged (as long as you're not blatantly trolling).
