Did you report them for being AFK? Even if the guy holding a gun up to a bank teller who says "Please" and "thank you" when he demands the money, he's still breaking the law.
If you didn't report the nice man, that's your choice. But I wouldn't see a lot of humor in it.
The problem I have with teams in a 4v5 is that they automatically give up before twenty minutes. Yes, it's MUCH harder to win lacking one of your roles, but I've personally won a lot of 4v5s. I had a ranked game two seasons ago where we won something like 27-1 with our jungle Shyvana having never connected. A team ruins its chances of winning before 20 minutes if they decide the game isn't worth playing.

Heroes of the storm solves the AFK problem by implementing an intermediate level bot in place of the player until he/she comes back. I wish riot would do something similar because it's getting too obvious that with certain champions it's impossible to make a comeback on a 4v5.

Like I had this kat in one game, and I was especially chatty that game, and noticed that she/he would reply "same" to almost everything I said, so I started saying random crap but ending/starting it with various words designed to post a rhetorical question, and found that kat always said "same"
...up until like the very end, when apparently, the script got cut off and replaced with angry player hurling profanities at me and telling me that since I knew what it was that I must also be using them... he sounded like I had woken him up.

There is a reason why the Lady of Justice statue has a bandage around her eyes. The law, and game rules, should be applied equally to everyone regardless.
A person playing League must participate. If they go AFK, nice person or not, if they are reported for being AFK, Riot will punish them for it. Just as the player standing there talking smack would be if they were not participating and someone reported them.
After that one, I'm no longer participating in this discussion.
