basically had 2 guys in the pre-game lobby spamming things like "lol" "oh no oh no oh no" "xd" "wow" just over and over in a wall of text that never ended.. then the support picked vi, and took smite teleport.. i dodged with only 5-10 seconds.. am i an asshole or was this totally justified?
What makes you think dodging would ever make you an "asshole"? You can dodge for whatever reason you want.
You dodge, you take the penalty, and that's the end of that. No need for a justification, and definitely no need to ponder whether you are an asshole. The whole point of the dodge mechanic (including penalty) is to create a situation in which you are discouraged from dodging, but can do so at any point for any reason.
To be completely honest, I consider the dodge penalty more of a fee - or perhaps even a tax - than a punishment.
Edit: If you are just looking for some affirmation: I probably would have dodged that, too.
im sick of the auto fill players taking your spot so you are forced to dodge we should be able to report them for not following riots awfully designed autofail system
