"Sportsmanlike players have more enjoyable games"

As a player who hasn't unleashed his rage on another player for a very long time now, I can honestly say it's not true. I would be so much happier if I can verbally tear some of these fuckwits new assholes. It's more frustrating than I can express to know that they can be pricks all they want, but because I'm afraid of getting banned I can't give them what they deserve.

Edit: Just for clarity, I've never had any punishments for my behavior besides low priority queue once for 5 games, although admittedly I probably should have been punished back in the day. Nowadays I mostly say nothing the whole game aside from important info like flashes and such. I'd likely end up with a chat restriction rather than a ban if I did go off on someone, but that doesn't make taking their shit without retaliation any easier.

You're afraid of silently and rightfully reporting them? Because that's what they deserve. If you think flying off the handle at them is what they deserve or going to change how they behave, then you are sadly mistaken.

Acting sportsmanlike and being sportsmanlike are two very different things. You are clearly the former, where as that quote refers to the latter.

The thing is, while it might feel good in that moment, not only will it probably make the rest of the game a more negative experience, indulging in anger like that actually reinforces it in your brain and gets you more worked up, making you angrier. It's why "beat up a pillow" therapy has become discredited, people end up unintentionally training themselves to associate physical violence with stress relief.

I dunno, having a positive environment and constantly playing with really nice people makes the game really fun. Also, you cannot say that based on your experience alone that something is fact.

This is so true man, Riot Lyte is causing people psychological disorders by forcing them to put up with bullying, disrespect, verbal abuse, and not allowing you to defend yourself. This man should be jailed for creating such an abomination of a banning system.

Why be mean when you can be meme? Remember, salt only stings an open wound, but an apache attack helicopter confuses the hell out of everyone. Tilt the enemy team by asking them to wake you up inside.

I think rito means people who just naturally don't want to type in chat "UR BAD"

Then I reccomended you find another pastime. Particularly one where you don't have to interact with people, because you seem like you need it.

Uh.. Pretty sure Riot wants you to change your perspective to be more positive, not restrain yourself from BMing in chat because there's already chat block for that.

Buy a punching bag or workout a bit. Maybe a talk to a therapist or a friend.

Technically the hint is still true then.

It's hard to have enjoyable games when you get banned from them.

Yes... COME TO THE DARKSIDE The Grand Design..

Release your ANGER and become STRONG! But seriously though just get a stressball or punching bag and after a game or when you die and have a long deathtimer get up and go HAM on that bag
