STOP BANNING YOUR TEAMS CHAMPION

So new Evelynn is out, i decided to try her in a normal game in draft pick

i am first pick and i prepick evelynn to show my team that i want to play her

i ask my team to not ban evelynn

my team bans evelynn from me on purpose just to tilt me

its so fucking annoying, its not ranked so let me try the champion! i was first pick and the enemy team didnt ban eve so i was 100% sure to get her

These threads never get any sympathy and I have no idea why. Policing your own teammate on how they want to play their game is a dick move, with the possible exception of when that teammate is overtly demonstrating the intention to troll. ESPECIALLY in norms.

Mostly it depends on which side you're on, which you can clearly tell in draft.

For red side, I often see if someone has a newly reworked champ or new champ that's first pick but on red, the champ will still get banned to avoid the person who's first pick blue side from picking them.

Yes, it's rude if you're first pick, but there's reasons why people do it.

with the 10 ban system and the way the meta is currently i dont expect to be playing evelynn anytime soon at least not till around pre season even though she is my favorite jungle assassin. you prob wont be playing her in any draft pick mode for about 2/5 days tbh

To an extent I agree. But using the excuse that it's just normal is wrong. People should be taking the game seriously no matter what.

I've only ever had it happen once, and that player certainly knew what they were doing, because the banning player didn't say another word in game. The player whose champ was banned went to a different lane, which isn't what I'd do, but she did what was best for the team. All in all, it's a dick move, and shouldn't be rewarded with giving the banning player what he wants.

No... Everyone does tjat cuz they dont want someone playing a champ that 1. Got reworked. And 2. U prob dont know what ur doing. 3. They dont want other team to play her.
