What can actually be done about trolls?

/Rant Begin

So ranked is ending soon and with one account already getting that victorious skin, I decided to get the other to Gold. I get into a game as Vayne vs. Karma and MF bot. It's hell. First 7 mins I get poked down (expected) and I gladly give first turret. I keep farming cos I know I'll turn into a lategame god. Then next thing I hear is "An Enemy is on a killing spree" and guess who it was, Yasuo. I know it would be hard but didn't flame TF or anything. Just kept farming. Next thing TF says, "You know this game is lost right, that's why I'm feeding". This was around 20 mins. I already had my Phantom Dancer, Stattik and BoTRK. I was like wtf. Next thing dude sells everything and for the next 30 mins he kept buying all cloth armor, all doran's shield, forbidden idol and all that. Meanwhile I and my other teammates were working together. I got killed a lot cos of the focus on me. Didn't matter, we kept going and I kept encouraging them telling them never to surrender. We eventually aced then and got one nexus turret. Still the TF didn't think "Oh we can actually do this". Nope. He kept feeding until they were all full build and MF and Yas Had GA. We tried and tried but in the end we lost. I spent 59 mins of my life with a troll who thought the game was lost from min 20. I lost the game because someone couldn't man up and try to play better. I told him "I hope you get banned" and his reply was "Idc. Will just make a new account". I was tilted beyond measure. Now my question is, Dear Riot, since you are in the mood of granting wishes, can you help come up with a solution for trolls?

they will never stop trolls. this is the perfect game for them.

they can directly make you weaker - stealing cs/xp or feeding, and there is no way for you to escape them because leaverbuster. so they can often troll you for 30+ minutes. then if you get upset and say some stuff to them they can even get you banned.

its a troll's paradise. there has never been a better game for them.

Its really hard for situations like this. Hence why if something could be done to stop this type of behavior it would have been implemented already! You cannot leave because then what is stopping you from leaving any game even if there isnt a troll. Should they just be able to leave with no punishment (eg LP lost/Leavebuster) Then people would abuse that to go higher up in ranking.

They couldnt "kick" a player like this because then it would cripple your team by it being a 4v5 which obviously wouldnt be good and in most cases will result in a lost either way.

I mean its a difficult subject to work with and im sure the people who work on this game have been thinking up a solution for this since this is a problem.

It's mighty impressive that even with TF intentionally feeding you guys were almost even on kills. Kudos to you!

I had an ARAM recently where one player decided "this sucks, we lost in champion select, why bother?" They then proceeded to half AFK, half try for the rest of the game, despite the rest of the team wanting to play it out. I think in both cases, the problem is someone thinking they're there center of it all and not respecting their teammates.

he wasnt a troll ive had a similar feeling often before i quit so allow me to attempt to explain it. he probably wasn't very good due to lack of game knowledge and based on what little knowledge he had and past games he assed it as a gg because of how yasou match into vayne.

ill be blunt while i lack your ingame knowledge i do know how games go and since he may be similar i will flat out say it. losing and moving to the next game always feels so much better then getting shit on with never surrender allies. please at least just a little bit consider using the 20 min surrender function to spare some one who is clearly been having a very rough time stress as well as keeping your own stress levels low. weather its his own fault or just one of those days i cant say =[

p.s. im assuming while annoying one or two loses wont hurt your ability to climb
