As an older player, I still enjoy sitting down for a game of League in my free time. However, this is too much. Its virtually impossible to get a "clean" game of League now.

Almost every game has at least one intentional feeder or troll in it. Worse yet, it seems Riot is more interested in banning players who get angry at intentional feeders/trolls than the players who instigate the situation. Personally I don't hard flame players, but I do know those who are banned for it.

I still enjoy the game itself, but the environment is terrible. Games are not enjoyable when one player is effectively ending the match within the first 10 minutes... In every game. This has nothing to do with winning or losing... It's no fun when the opposing team is stuck with such players, either.

I am close to being done. Riot will not get an ounce of my time, attention, and most importantly, my money. How many have to leave before all you are stuck with is problem players? How long will your game last then?

Please clean this shit hole up before we all climb out and never come back.

Just had someone intentionally lose a game earlier today. Of course, nothing will be done about it. It happens in about 1/5 ranked games on average.

If this is happening to you almost every game, there are 3 reasons for it.

  1. You are exaggerating
  2. You have a poor definition of what an inter and a troll is
  3. You are toxic and triggering them, in someway form of another

I love how many people are going to come and say it's "extremely" unlikely or impossible you have a troll every game.

The last 20 games I have a had at least one troll EVERY game.

If you don't believe me, then congrats. You're assuming someone is lying for absolutely no benefit.

This game is fucked.

By "feeder" do you mean intentional feeder? Because if that's the case I find it extremely unlikely you have one intentional feeder or troll in every single game.

If by "feeder" you mean someone who does poorly, that's never going to be against the rules.

If you say you have one inter every game, then you probably are mistaking regular feeding for intentional feeding.

I think what makes it worse is that one person can have more bad impact than good. in previous seasons it was a lot easier to solo carry.

I got chat restricted for this reason. For getting angry at toxic players and for defending myself. Riot is unbelievable. I'm probably uninstalling.

I don’t think it’s Riot’s fault, merely the player base. Of course it could be monitored better, but implementing a system like this is extremely difficult. I think with more time, hopefully in the near future, a better system will be in place. I completely understand your frustrations and I’d say about 40-50% of my games yield trolls and extremely toxic players ( I mainly only play ranked as well). This said, I must emphasise– the way players behave is nothing to do with Riot. It’s the player base and community that is wrong with this game. I think a huge part of it is having so much freedom to essentially speak to 9 different people in 30~ minutes and potentially never come across them again. I found muting and just ignoring chat has really helped improve my mood whilst playing and not being so downhearted at players’ abhorrent ways. I hope you find some better people to play with soon. All the best to you.

I sticked with the game now for almost 4 years which is likely to be a shorter time than you played it. I don't know how this affects my viewings (or yours) but I think it is important to at least mention it.

Let me tell you how I deal with these people: I simply ignore them. You can't change your team so why worry about them. They might play their part or they might not. Don't waste your energy and good mood with them. Of cause it is really bad if you loose lp because of the team but thats just how it is.

If you encouter an inter (and i mean a real inter) try getting the enemys to report them to. That might help.

Aero and Voldymort are notorious for getting on threads just to defend Riot. Don't listen to them

Matchmaking is bad but it would be ok if it wasn't for the behavior system and its punishment focus

Much of the community agrees this game is bleeding out; and its because of the community.

So sad when you WANT to play a game but the game company does 0 -Little about trolls, soft inters, etc.

But type a "bad word" 3 times and get an instant ban XD

It's Riot's fault the community is like this, people cannot stand the game balance and have had so many unfair matches that everyone is just angered with the state of the game.

Let me just rant here since I don't want to make another thread just for it Look, it was a fucking ARAM game, this person said "fuck this matchmaking, always matched with noobs", in a fucking ARAM game. Look at my KDA, we could have won easily.

But then you say "fuck off" and you're the one getting banned. We reported her x9 and I got honored by everyone else, we were shitting on them but we simply couldn't do it 4v5. Sometimes I fucking hate people playing

I am already done with league, I was called a "feeder" in my last match because i was actually trying. Forget this game smite has a better community base than league of legos.

Posts like this and the exact opposite make the front page weekly. "The system is broken it doesn't punish enough!" "The system is broken it punishes too much!" "The system is broken it doesn't punish the right people!"

None of them have managed to convince me. I don't think the ban system is perfect, but it sure as hell isn't that awful. I have yet to see a single instance of a player claiming they did nothing wrong and got banned, be proven to be right.

Have they tried shadowbanning yet ? Like every toxic player will only play with and against other shadowbanned players ?

This means not only longer waiting time for matchmaking for them but their games will be the trashest on LoL, sparing us at the same time.

They still can be chat restricted in addition with the shadowban if they flame

That would be insanely evil, but effective.
