What's up Fam!?
Hey guys!!
It's update time! This post is about my reformation from an incident earlier in 2017: here's post 1 detailing the issue and my remorse for it, and post 2 about my thoughts after the fact, and what I would be doing moving forward.
First off I'd like to say Congrats to Samsung for winning the World Championship. For the C9 vs. WE Quarterfinal, I managed and setup a Worlds Viewing Party at my College, where we put it up on the big screen in an auditorium, and had snacks and drinks and got a good 25 people or so to come and cheer our boys in blue on! It was epic!! This year was the craziest Worlds yet (IMO) and it was a pleasure to watch all the games. Hearing the Analysts (and our boy Dash!) renewed my interest in becoming an analyst and a color caster. All of that constant inundation with Worlds stats and knowledge just lights up my Autumn days like none other! I did a lot of introspection in the last half of 2017 that I didn't play League, and even now I still find that I desire to be involved at Riot, and to work at giving back to the Community that got me hooked back in 2012. To do that, I need to play the game--not only to talk about it on broadcast, but to understand it, too.
I've learned a lot after not playing for some time, and had fun coming back to League of Legends and seeing so many changes and new styles (and champs!). The meta sure is different, and I'll have to work my way back up to Plat 2, but isn't that part of the wild ride!? :D
Like I said above, my drive to become a caster has renewed, and I'll continue to work towards that goal with my Communications degree in mind, which should be completed next Fall from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Go Nooks! I'm looking forward to sharing the YouTube videos to Reddit of my casting progress since Fall of 2015, sometime in the near future. I can update you when that happens, if you'd like. :)
I love this game. I love you people. I lost sight of that during the two games that got me suspended, and I'll forever regret my decisions on that fateful day. I'm sorry. Just like T1, Uberdanger, and other high profile players that have been suspended, though, I believe I can make a comeback and be a positive influence for the community. So, I'm going to be. :D
I love you guys!! GLHF, see you on the Rift. [slayer-jinx-catface]
