Hecarim (our jg) was so damn toxic all game, every time he died he'd flame at me and his Bot lane friends would join in and attack me. But Im the one who gets chat restricted purely because i got more reports (theyre in a party)

This is absolutely a justified chat restriction, sorry.

Basically, you harassed and berated your teammates the entire game, as well as calling for reports. Verbal harassment is explicitly against the rules, so here we are. You're doing yourself no favors by engaging in that kind of behavior, because you're basically just driving your teammates towards tilt and making everybody have a miserable time playing the game.

You're going to inevitably lose an average of 50% of the games you play, right? You need to find a way to take those losses with grace and not rage at your team when things don't go your way. Otherwise, punishments aside, you aren't going to enjoy games like this.

Cumulative reports don't mean anything, by the way.

Eh, you deserve it. When someone flames you, just mute the bonobo right away and play as if nothing happened. Getting involved in flaming like that, even if you haven't started it, means neither you or the other guy are that focused on the game, the rest of your team is distracted too and everyone plays worse as result. Mentality is just as important as mechanics or decision making in League. My advice, as someone who's been enjoying this game for years , is to never type in chat. The smart pings RIOT put in the game are all you really need to talk to your team (also, don't spam ping on the teammate that did something wrong, it's toxic and it doesn't ever help, trust me).
