Why are people not suspended when they say alot of toxic things?

You know in the past I've had a game where a Vayne told my whole team "kys" "ggez" "you guys suck stay in bronze" all the while spamming mastery after killing us 1 by 1, I've made a report and sent in a support ticket asking for justice but it never came. in a second scenario I've had a singed constantly spam "you guys shit" "you guys play-style is shit" and his buddy shaco would say "you guys are shit bags" "how does it feel to be 0/7 as support kayle top?" and i would ask them just why are they so toxic do you want a 14 day suspension? and another replied "it wont happen" "ur play stlye toxic af" and still no notification ever came

Tbh i've had a 14 day suspension before when a sibling got on my account and went 0/18 while spamming insults" (I'm grateful it wasn't a perma and I'm glad to know I'm not toxic, but the damage has already been done) yeah yeah I'm supposed to keep track of my account and I hold full responsibility for it for using a password that is used by multiple of my accounts

but the real question remains, why is the automated system so bad when it comes to detecting toxicity so that people are able to get away with saying these things?

First of all, toxicity is dealt with 99.999% of times by the IFS. Submitting a report via support ticket should only be used in very borderline cases where the IFS may not pick it up. They don't generally take action on support tickets, and when they do, they don't tell anyone but the person they take action against.

If you filed a report in game about the first person, please do submit a support ticket mentioning how you did not notice on their match history that they got a 14 day or permanent ban, and wondering if the IFS messed up. "kys" is supposed to lead to an instant 14 day ban on a previously unpunished account.

The second person, they may very well have gotten a punishment such as a chat restriction, but you don't always get notified when they do. The only person to get the notification is the last person to report before the punishment was issued.

I find myself reporting SO many people for toxicity yet I rarely get the pop up notification and I still see the toxic people playing even after how toxic they had been. My faith in the feedback system is deteriorating. Worst part is when you see someone who's honor 3/4 with a badge yet they are the most toxic person on their team. Why do they even have a badge???

Report them. Just because you don't get a notification does not mean that it didn't help lead to a punishment.

Its not bad at detecting these things, it's bad at letting you know that they caught someone.

Currently, you get a punishment notification when the game you reported them was the one that punished them, not if they were punished later.
