a bad game : on a champ you actually play, minor mistakes that can be done by anyone not playing at their best.

trolling : first timing xayah top in diamond 5 ranked and going 0-8 as well as nto grouping after and afk splitting until u die to obvious ganks.

a bad game : building two items instead of one like 2 infinity edges .

trolling : 6 mobi boots and running down a lane.

just had someone tell me first picking a champ in ranked and going 0-8 is having a bad game.

Really the only difference is the intent of the one performing the action.

Not trolling: Performing actions that you are unaware harms the team's chances of winning.

Trolling: Performing actions that you believe harm the team's chances of winning.

u go into normals practice tool and bots if u wanna learn shit.

u dont pick a first time champ in competitive and call yourself a good teammate

But 1st time ranked, how are they suppose to have any rank stats?

I have to 1st time pick someone that my rank stats have 0 progress for. SO unless I magically have a win loss record on someone in ranked, I am trolling as it is my 1st time playing them in ranked.......

Being over confident in your own ability to play a champion when it's your first time playing them is not trolling.

Being delusional about your skill level, sure, but not trolling. Unless they explicitly said something that showed that they knew that they were dooming the team, then yeah, trolling.

Inting/feeding/trolling- Your teammates are punished.

"just a bad game"- Your teammates are punished.

Both have the same result, and just like whether you AFK or your game bugsplats, both should be punishable.
