Can I be be perma banned for saying 'easy' in chat despite no previous punishment?

So I just got out of a game, I normally never talk in chat, Ive never gotten chat restricted, ive never been punished for any wrong actions. A few times in game, I said 'easy' after a few plays down bot lane as annie support, I typed easy in chat to assert dominance. I agree its rude, but it's not like flaming or running down mid. At the end of the game. I was informed that one of my enemies was a rioter, and they said they can and will ban me instantaneously for either 2 weeks OR Perma ban me for saying "easy" in chat, despite the fact that I have never ever been punished with any sort of chat restriction before.

Thoughts?

hes bullshitting, noone can ban you for simply saying ''easy'' although it is frowned upon, he's either an impersonator or a salty asshole.

No, not as a first offense. It's rude, so being consistently reported for it could possibly get you a punishment, but you'd only go up 1 tier at a time (10 chat restriction being the first). Whoever told you they were a Rioter was lying, and that is actually bannable with no prior punishment.

They obviously weren't a Rioter, why someone would believe that I don't know.

If they were and you could get instant perma'd for that, you would've been. On the spot.

No you can't btw. It can lead to regular punishments if enough people report you for it because as you said, it's rude. Nobody likes rude people.

I think you can safely put this little event aside without any worries. He's def not a rioter.

Anyways, I've heard of people getting banned for saying "ez" etc. but I'm not sure it's true.

They weren't a Rioter as all Riot Employee's have "Riot" in their name and can only have that one account. (Don't quote me on that last bit I don't know but I assume that's true.)
