Disable All Chat

I know I know, we all love /all chat.

But if we're honest with ourselves, it does MUCH more harm than good. Let people /all chat before minions spawn and after the nexus explodes for the "GL"s and "gg"s. At least test it in Bronze and Silver - can you imagine how much flaming could be avoided if you ensured that people couldn't engage the other team? No more "report so and so" or "gg, this mid is noob" or any of the other nonsense that serves absolutely no purpose.

It's disabled by default, and has to be manually enabled. Personally, I have more positive /all experiences than negative ones, and I'd be pretty sad to lose it.

Turn it off yourself. It's in the options sections.

No, I want to coordinate a 10-man dance in rift herald and have fun with the enemy team. If someone on the enemy team is toxic, mute them, same goes for an ally.

I'm pretty good at avoiding toxicity and haven't ever received a chat restriction or ban, but oftentimes I'm just pretty quiet outside of MIAs and communicating ganks when I'm jungle. I've tried being a little more communicative in lobby to try to instill some friendly banter lately, but that ultimately makes it even more disheartening when team chemistry falls apart in /all.

For every fun experience I have with /all ("Garen - dance party in lane?" before minions spawn), I experience 5 or 6 negative ones where people are badmouthing their own teams.

Selfishly, I love seeing someone from the other team flame their teammate in /all because I think it automatically gives us a better chance to win, but I wouldn't miss it too terribly much if it went away for a while.

Before anyone says "why don't YOU disable it then", my answer would be the obvious - if it's an option for my teammates then I want to see it as well so I know what's going on. It's the same reason why the old "just mute all negative teammates" option isn't so popular.

I hate it when the team starts talking to the enemy and cannot understand that their enemy is NOT their friend. The enemy is the one who hates you and wants you to fail. There is no reason to get friendly with them. You only stroke their ego.

You can already turn it on or off, this is pointless. Do whatever you want.
