Most of you are adults, or would like to be treated as such.

you have a MUTE button. Riot provided it. If you're in a state where what someone says (ally or enemy) is gonna make you rage like a 10 year old, you probably shouldn't give into that urge and just use that wonderful MUTE function. You can't blame Riot for you continuing to tilt yourself by reading the flame.

"Omg, Riot's report system is so weak, we can't punish enough people for saying '%%%'". MUTE button "Omg Mid, You're such trash stop feeding the enemy do you even league you boner biter?" MUTE button

Don't feel like having to run through the scenario where they say something that pisses you off so then you MUTE after you're tilted?

Be pro-active little ragey buddy, hit that MUTE button before the game starts. Be the bigger player and let your team know "pings cuz i play with mute on glhf"

Like it or not, stopping during any point of the match to focus on your Urban Dictionary vocab usage for your LOL liveblog isn't going to make you win more.

From my experience people who are toxic in chat , if ignored, will just start feeding or afk'ing to bother you anyway. And sadly i cant unfeed them. Also if you mute someone you are not communicating with them, so if half your team is toxic you are basically commiting a reportable offence by not communicating with them.
