Our midlane basically said this while we're ahead and quit the game. There wasn't any drama, no ks, no feeding, midlane just left in the middle of ranked. This isn't even a low level normal games where players get the feel if they like the game or not, this was ranked. I don't know if our midlaner had someone else playing on their account or not, but leaving a game halfway just because they didn't want to play is unacceptable. Looking at their history, they played again two hours after leaving our game meaning they had no intention of quitting the game, but left because they felt like it.

I think this type of player should be permabanned even if it was a first offense. I can forgive people with internet issue or personal emergency, but not the kind that treat ranked as a joke.

For Real Life, you can quit whenever you want. If my Mother needs me at home I will quit a game with no regret. It's only a game even if it's a ranked one.

I disagree. I'm diamond 3 and I would quit any game at any time if I'm not feeling good about it.

We have leave buster to punish people that do this often though, but if you think we should be slaves to the game this is a minority opinion.

sometimes you need to quit for your own mental health. ever feel like you are going crazy in a game? leave the game. take some time to relax. go for a walk.

I say i'm going to quit league all the time (it's me being dramatic and to be taken as a joke, i'm obviously going to keep playing) but i'll never int a ranked match. People who do that are scum.
