I got punished, but I don't think what I did should've been punishable. I want an outside opinion

So The season ends in less than a month and I just got chat restricted and honor level 1, meaning I will have no time to get my honor back and get end of season rewards. Now the thing is, I've never not gotten my end of season rewards before I don't consider myself toxic and I actually try to go above and beyond in being positive in my games. The game I got punished for the literally only negative thing I said was "u guys are morons" and "u guys are idiots" my question to the community is- do yall really consider that to be toxic enough to be punishable? I wouldn't think so.

As a background, I was told it was also because I was "heavily reported" but my 3 teammates (we had 1 dc) all were hard flaming me and they all said and agreed they were reporting me for "trolling". Their reasoning was because I had electrocute on Soraka, which I said at the beginning of the game was an accident because runes didn't save, but they did not care it was an accident and said the game was all my fault and they were reporting me for trolling (it was around that point i said they were idiots for doing that). So basically, they were not reporting me for being toxic or anything they just blamed me because I had a wrong rune, and didn't like that I didn't let them remake, because I told them it was winnable even though I had wrong runes.

So to me this really does not seem like something worth being punished over, I feel like when it comes to toxicity just saying they are idiots isn't toxic?? But I figured I'd try to get opinions on this. For clarity I'm going to post the chat logs given to me by Riot

*As a note, we did open mid that game because we had an AFK, but at some points it was an "NA open" where 2 members of our team killed them and then went back to letting them win, the game lasted 12 minutes and 8 seconds

chat restriction for this level of toxicity seems fair, you were saying you hate people, calling them idiots and morons and spending the whole game typing instead of playing till your team surrender or you lose. I don't think you being chat restricted and you accidently having the electrocute on soraka, has anything to do with the punishment. I don't know if you know this but multiple reports do nothing, many rioters have stated before that multiple reports bare no extra impact on the system, 1 report or 9 reports are weighted the same. asking for reports or being baited in by people saying x9 (name) or all report (name) for x is simply peoples lack of understanding the system or trying to get you to actually break the rules. i have a strong feeling if you didn't type so much in this game, and didn't call anyone an idiot or moron then you wouldn't of gotten this chat restriction.
