We need a way to deal with trolls pre-game

I know this isn't a new discussion, but we need some way to deal with pregame lobby trolling. Whether it is the guy who is not communicating, banning first picks champ, or stealing someone else's role. I am sick of people being earlier picks and taking the role i was assigned even after I politely refused to trade roles. Why should I have to dodge or be forced to play a role I not only do not want but wasn't even assigned?

Considering you know this isn't a new discussion, maybe you should also have read the 10+ discussions on this in the past week.

Trolling in champion select is literally impossible. There is no concept of being forced to play a meta, thus any champion, spells, runes, masteries are acceptable.

There is also nobody holding a gun to your head and forcing you to switch roles. If you choose to switch roles because you think someone else is trolling, you chose to do so. Your other option would have been to call their bluff, which 99% of the time results in them playing their assigned lane.

If they get into game and troll? Report them and if they're actually trolling put comments of how. It's an instant 14 day ban, but a lot of it gets missed because people don't describe what they actually did to troll in the report.

Best of luck.

I agree, something needs to be done. Team Builder had a way to kick people who were obvious feeders and/or trolls - but, as we all know, they removed it.

I can't tell you the number of times I went into a game and people called no lanes or people said one lane and went another and this is blind -and- even in draft they did the same thing. There should be a way for you to leave and not be penalized whatsoever if it can be verified it was legitimate. I mean, if somebody says "I'm going to feed all game long" as a few people said, I should be able to hit a button and get out of that game! A few days ago somebody said "I'm AFKing all game" right before the game lobby closed out and sure enough, they did - because they stayed connected, but on the base, the system didn't detect anything and we lost a 4 on 5. So yes, we need something to avoid penalties.

No one is forcing you to dodge or play a role you weren't assigned. It is entirely your choice.
