Can we add great pve experiences?

I'm really tired of playing with and against scumbags cause it's a pvp setting and people enjoy trolling it.

Intermediate bots aren't all that good. Were you here for doom bots? This could turn into fun things. Poro king type summoners rift... and answer to the fun mode maps that Heroes of the Storm has... lots of people would love this mode... and you'd see a lot less bullshit in ranked.

it would be very hard to program bots that are actually good at the game since you cant program true intelligence. They either need to cheat mechanically (they act like a scripter) or cheat with extra gold/stats to compete with intelligence and teamwork. Or riot could make the expert bots a normal Que where both sides are told the enemy is bots xD and you cant chat with the enemy.

This is entirely wrong. They already have doom bots and similar modes. There's NOTHING to say they can't cheat or shouldn't cheat. If my team can beat bots that gain double gold.. fun. If they can beat triple xp... cool. If I can figure out how to dodge a half cooldown time ezreal... more fun. But I don't find it enjoyable to play against human opponents when I have a complete fucking moron on my team that's hell bent on making my life miserable.

My point was that bots NEED to cheat to be challenging and that coding hard bots that don't cheat is near impossible/too expensive.

The concept completely ignores the reality that for the people trolling, the fun comes from frustrating the people stuck playing with them in a consequence free environment.

There's nothing to troll if it's not ranked and there's only "beating the bots" as a goal and if I can queue up and "beat the bots" the next game... well I don't care if they trolled. It's the pvp aspect that bothers me. It's not a fair game in pvp. So I prefer to pve. I'm like that with a lot of games.

I was a 2300 arena player in wow. I HATED IT. I was top 10 US PVE. AND LOVED IT. Some of us just enjoy pve more. And I think the game completely ignores us and I think it leads to behavioral issues. Trolls will still be there. But it won't be as easy for them to troll and with less of a pay off.

meh, I guess it's just different people with different ideas, I like pve games in other games, I just can't imagine playing a dota for pve. I can honestly say, many people in pvp should be in pve already, and if they had to play against bots, would get wrekt. I'd have to guess the reason for not expanding pve is the micro-transaction model, I mean, who would buy a bunch of skins and additional rune pages to play vs bots, when you could take that same money and buy actual pve games, and still have the same experience here for nothing (sorry if that's also you, I'm just saying since it's not here, it has to be a financial decision)

I have every champ and a lot of skins. Buying skins to me isn't bragging rights vs. another player. It's a modification of a character I enjoy and I hope to see interesting things come of it.

I think people would still buy and I, at least, would pay for new pve experiences that weren't lame.

I believe they nerfed intermediate bots real hard, to the point where I can't tell the difference between intermediate and beginner (apart from itemization). Like I remember there was a while when it was impossible to land skill shots at max distance, and bots would flash out of danger the instant you flash to them. They would even tower dive you if they have overwhelming advantages. Now the bots would chase you into bush to die, would never use flash, and wouldn't do anything to you even if you're standing below turret with 50 health.
