just got the delay for not selecting ... I had selected, I just hadn't locked. Didn't know it was necessary. A little warning would be nice!

There was warming...in the 6.1 patch notes and, I beleive, the first time you enter dynamic queue, you get a message stating that you must lock in picks. S

When you logged in it shows a 3 section image of the changes. The last was said you had to lock in.

It did cause a few problems of people who didn't lock in, then would walk away and do something else. So there was something broken about it.

But I think that is offset by the fact you can't hold a pick till the last second in case you change your mind. Pro's do it all the time. Hold that safe pick while they talk it over. Sometimes changing it at the last second.

Both are overall minor things though.

if there was, I didn't see it. and why all the sudden did it change? It wasn't broken to begin with, and "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

There should be a warning that starts 5 seconds before you get kicked

They changed it so that it would force a reduction in time spent in lobby. Really all it did was make it take longer in lobby because you have to start over every time someone forgets to lock in instead of just having to wait the whole 30 seconds and move on. I think it was a bad call, but I also think they're just experimenting to find the best way to do the new lobby.

There is a warning. They say it all over the patch it starts in. There's a popup announcement upon your first login after it started. Also, there's a popup every single time you enter lobby until you click the box that tells it to stop reminding you every time. I think you decided not to read it and instabanished it. Should read things more closely.
