I had a fiddle support int, flame, and say I like to suck on "big black c#cks". Because the support and jungle were inting (2/15 and 2/14 respectively) I asked if we could surrender. This apparently engaged super troll mode on fiddle. I managed to still get a decent score (12/7) but fiddle made sure to laugh and mock me every time I died. I never swore at anyone in the game, but of course fiddle reported me and Riot being the sensless idiots they are gave me a 25 game chat restriction. Like what the flying f#ck?! So what fiidle did is ok but me asking to surrender or asking someone to stop inting (fiddle kept waiting for our team to die then ulted 1v5) is not ok? Did riot put of a bunch of trolls in charge of ban hammers? Riot seems determined to ruin a great game by encouraging trolls and making sure players stuck in troll games suffer as much as possible since we get punished if we leave and we get punished for saying anything to trolls, even if it's not derogatory or inflammatory.

I've understood my chat bans in the past because I would get super pissed at trolls and cuss them out (I think Riot's chat ban is DAF) but I didn't swear once this game and I still got a 25 game chat ban.

Swearing is not a problem by itself, and you most definitely can get in trouble without swearing.

It would probably be easier to explain this with specific examples from your chat logs, though.

Going to need a chat log for this. I can sort of relate to this and have learnt it really is easier to mute and move on

Riot does not give a shit about cussing as long as its not flaming or thrown at someone (i swear im going to slap the mod that troll deletes this, i can stick my hand through my pc, dont test it.)

They mostly care about the meaning behind the words you happen to choose.

Riots ban system is just as bad as the vac ban system. remember the grippex debacle where he got banned for going 1/1/1. That's what happened here. Why can't we have the tribunal back but it works the same as csgo overwatch and if someone sees ghost/cleanse on any champion or they are running it down mid, they can vote Yes on banning but there's so a punishment score where it's basically a boy who cried wolf type deal where if it isn't you lose points but if it is, you gain points and the jackass is banned.

Because lol community consists of mentally challenged snowflakes, being butthurt because you said report them. Trolling, inting is ok. But as soon as you type 'ez' or 'report', oh boy, rito is going to smite you so hard you won't see it coming. The same situation is here, on the boards. Being retarded and absolutely dumb is ok, but as soon as you start being 'a jerk', you get a warning/ban.
