Slew of consecutive bad teams. Why?
So I've finally found a champ (Soraka, sometimes Morgana) that could carry me out of bronze. I was climbing fast and got to Bronze I (I know this isn't very high but I was in mid silver and fell all the way back down to B3). I was super happy. I thought I would finally get to Silver again. But silly me. As soon as I get to BI I can't get good teammates for the life of me. I get 3 teams in a row that have no clue how to make a good team comp. They go full squishy against a team of assassins or full assassins against a team with tanks and high cc. In one game my jungler refused to gank any lanes and just sat by our blue buff and waited for the enemy to find him. In another game our top lane Wukong afk'd after 10 minutes. In many of these games I had multiple "junglers". I tried telling these players to stay with the team or push a lane. Their response? "LOLz". In pregame lobby I always try to ban assassins to protect myself if I'm Soraka or if I can't I try and tell my team that we need cc or tank but they all insisted on going squishy assassins.
I know what good, decent players are. If a team has a negative K/D but can still focus objectives or help in team fights I have no issue with them. But my teammates in my last three games were nothing even close to this. My question is a) Do other people experience a sudden spike in games with terrible teammates? b) What champs would you recommend to play if your team has no clue how to make a team comp and you need to carry your team SUUPPPEERRR hard?
One of my games I went 5/5/11 as Morgana. I had an 8/11 ashe (but they were good until it got to the team fight part because she just got blown up by Talon) 5/11 jungler (this was the jungler just feeding by blue buff) a 5/13 arhi ( the "LOlz" responder) and a 5/8 Tryndamere. How the F#*@ do I carry a team like this? How do I carry teams like this if it happens multiple times in a row and prevent myself from falling down again? This is basically how I fell the first time. But I also made the mistake (IMO) of changing roles after losing consecutive games.
