Hi, there have been a mistake with you banning system Riot. I got a 14-dayer (without a chat restrict and getting tons of honor prior to that) in my most recent game. Just check my match history. This is unusual for me because I actually played quite well, on the other hand I have reported my teammate who wast trolling a lot and inting, he was also calling me a rat. So what is a confusion for me there is that I got a ban, but he didn't.

I read this as some sort of a mistake in your system, so reverse it and ban the lad. Thanks.

This is some of the most incessantly toxic stuff I've seen in a very, very long time. A pro streamer would get a 14-day for this much toxicity, regardless of the situation they were in.

If you think this kind of stuff is remotely in the same galaxy as acceptable behavior, you should re-read the chat logs.

If, after re-reading them, you still think this kind of stuff is remotely int he same galaxy as acceptable behavior... heck I don't know what to say because I can't fathom thinking that.

You haven't seen much then. Fortunately my skin is not made out of paper(unlike yours) and if someone says things that I don't like or don't agree with, I'm not immediately after calling cops.

Saying that someone is a noob and he should quit playing his champion is not a bad behavior, this is an opinion and I'm free to express it(or at least I thought). I don't care that you don't like it or do not agree with it, you should not have a right to punish me for that because that's something subjective.

Note that I didn't use racial slurs or anything like that.

If you say that I deserve ban for saying things like "sell skin" because you feel offended then I feel offended by you saying:

You might say "but saying a word toxic is not toxic", well for me it is and you are toxic towards me by saying that - therefore you should be banned.

That's your logic... this is subjective and you cannot punish people for saying such things. What if I'll tell someone that I don't like his hair? Will you say "This is some of the most incessantly toxic stuff I've seen in a very, very long time."

What I'm experiencing here right now with Riot is some kind of a crowd madness, banning people because you don't like what they said has a special name - censorship. Obviously here we are avoiding few essential parts:

I had a trolling duo in a team with Yasuo 0/13 in 20 minutes.
He was racially offending me and calling me a rat, but obviously the chat logs wont allow me to show you that.
He was the one to start as he lost top and blamed me (the jungler) with his teammate. I was answering back.
I have never, ever got banned before. I have not even got a chat restrict. Giving me a ban for one situation is some kind of a madness. Everyone who plays LoL writes different things for time to time. If we will keep banning people for one accident, suddenly Riot will run out of players.... or....

I actually think I got it. Because I got banned for nothing I was searching for anyone in similar situation and what actually happened was that I've seen thousands of people being in almost same situation as I am right now.

I was wondering what is the very reason for that, banning people for flame doesn't change anything because they will make a new account and continue to play the game, and then I got it - they start to banning people for nothing so they will be forced to make new accounts and because most of the people don't like to fuck with exp and getting champs one by one, they will have to pay with RP.

Banning people for stuff like that has nothing to do with "decreasing toxicity".

P.S. Streamers were saying much worse stuff and nothing was done, for example Yassuo. Your argument is invalid.

Definitely no mistake. Three lines in and you're already flaming your team. This has nothing to do with how well you (think you) played, but rather your awful attitude toward your teammates. Think long and hard during your 2-weeks off, because if you do this again you're going to be permanently banned.

To communicate with your team and help win the game. Not to insult other players. You can fully communicate through pings and 0 chat. This is possible just watch challenger players ggames, 0 times chat is used.

Another point is that I didn't insult, I was stating a fact. If I wouuld be 0/13 and someone would say that I'm useless I would have nothing to get mad about as he stated the truth. I was no good for team, therefore I was useless. He didn;t lied, he stated a fact.

Because that's against the rules. Feel free to have that OPINION but keep it to yourself. Whats against the rules? Communicating on teh chat is against the rules? You cant give someone a tool to communicate and then punish that person because he used it to communicate.... Who decides whats offensive? For me his insults about me were offensive. Calling me a rat was offensive too but somehow he didnt got punished.

What does it say when you attempt to log in? Were you punished for chat behavior or does it say you were punished for intentionally feeding and/or trolling?

If it's chat logs what were those chat logs? If it's for intentionally feeding / trolling what games does it list? An actual link to the game, not just a picture of the k/d/a with the name blotted out.

Is there something wrong with me, because this is not an insult but rather stating a fact, he was 0/10 (just check the picture I put in the link).

He could always mute me, but instead he was calling me a rat and insulting me for his 0/10 ( I was the jungler), why is the chat thingie not showing this as well? I would like you to show that, whole game he was flaming me hardly and throwing and he didn't get any punishment although I have reported him.

What's even more funny I was playing tons of ARAM's prior to that one game and I was doing very well and literally each game I was getting one or two honors, just check my match history. It was like 20 games in a row and each with honor. I even got that pop up window that informs me that I'm doing well with honors.

One game has deleted all of that, and I'm not feeling even guilty. I did well on that game.

I would prefer if you pasted the entire chat log given to you rather than your own assessment of it.

Either or. Print screen would only be necessary if people were concerned about the OP tampering with the logs. But there's little point in lying like that.

If people believe there was a mistake in the punishment they'll recommend you contact support it. And support will have the full unedited chat logs, so any recommendation based on tampered text wont change a thing about what support would tell you.

I cut out all the chat that I believe wasn't poor behavior. So pretty much all of that chat was poor attitude.

What happened with all of that good behavior? One game where i'm mad at a feeder and I deserve a ban? Just check his stats, we were played for almost 50 minutes!!! What was I supposed so say? Good job with feeding? Keep this up?

Also idc about the 14-dayer, but why have he not been banned for inting?

This isn't a zero sum punishment system. It's not like you're the defendant and this other person is the prosecutor. Your punishment is about your behavior and your behavior alone. Multiple people can be punished from a single game.

If you're good for 364 days in a year and then punch someone you're still held responsible for punching someone.

You don't have to fart sunshine and puke rainbows. Neutral behavior, or more specifically, not saying anything at all, takes even LESS effort than all of that you typed. If they are trolling, insulting them just gives them what they want. You are feeding the troll.

Yeah, ok but I still don't understand what I did wrong. Saying that someone is worthless is a statement. I have stated, that 0/13 Yasuo is a worthless, because HE WAS worthless. Worthless mean that he has no use in the team and this was true as he didn't participate in the game. I don't feel guilty, I don't understand why I'm getting punished here.

Following that logic a good system would give you prizes for 364 days of being good and punish you for only that one day you were bad. What the current system does is punishing you with 15 years of prison for being a naughty child for one day out of all those 364 where each day you were helping others and old grannies going through a street.

You don't get it. It's not the first time I encounter something like that. It's the first time when I respond to this. I'm getting trolls and flamers often, but its a first time when i respond and it's for a reason. Usually you know if it's already lost or already won game in first 10 minutes, but here we had a tie and we were close to winning (we took 3 inhis and nexus towers), it is normal for a player to feel emotions especially in a 50 minutes long game. And when you try to win, someone calling you a rat triggers you. So what you say to a 0/13 feeder that blames you, you say "you are worthless, delete game". Is this really such insult that I deserve a ban?

All right. I accept the challenge. It just happens that I have a video material from other game where I encountered a troll and feeder. He didn't get the punishment as well and I meant to report that to support so I took highlights of the game. I'll paste them on youtube and send you, we shall see if you think this was troll or not. You don't get it. It's not the first time I encounter something like that. It's the first time when I respond to this. I'm getting trolls and flamers often, but its a first time when i respond and it's for a reason. Usually you know if it's already lost or already won game in first 10 minutes, but here we had a tie and we were close to winning (we took 3 inhis and nexus towers), it is normal for a player to feel emotions especially in a 50 minutes long game. And when you try to win, someone calling you a rat triggers you. So what you say to a 0/13 feeder that blames you, you say "you are worthless, delete game". Is this really such insult that I deserve a ban?

If you don't punch three people that insult you but then punch the forth you still punched them. And yeah, I believe you deserve a punishment for this game. You spent almost your entire chat just insulting people.

This is a bad conclusion. You see only what I said and therefore you think I was the only one to speak. That's another inequality of this system, I already pointed it out before. This chat thingie doesn't show you what they said. I wish I could show you, you would suddenly change your mind. I was fighting back insults of two premades who lost their lanes, but I guess they are entitled to insult others.

I cant paste you the whole log because for some reason the system is missing what they were saying to me, but he was calling me a rat and insulting me in a much worse manner. I was pointing out his stats for most of the time and laughing at him.

Playing of flute beside enemy team when they do baron and dancing around when they go to kill him is not trolling? Okay? The "kill participation" is the stattik shiv that got proced when his character autoattacked enemy champ that was killed seconds later by us.

You can be judge for you words but you cant be judged for your action.... what kind of a sick system is this. Why a good player gets banned because he said about someone that he is useless one game, but someone that destroys the game intentionally is not punished with anything....

I guess Tyler1 is a good guy because his offenisve comment are of much bigger weight than mines, but still he is cool for Riot but I'm a flamer here that should be banned.

This is not normal. Trolling is the ultimate way of destroy the game and this should have the biggest priority when banning as this destroys the game. You can always mute people, but you can't make them stop inting.

You're not the judge if someone is intentionally feeding or not, you don't get to dole out punishment for your own perception since a player can't be trusted to not be bias. You get to report people and let Riot make that determination.

Besides,

By your own standards you deserve a 14-day ban. If going 2/16/17 is enough proof for you to claim that someone is intentionally feeding than 0/20/6 is beyond a shadow of a doubt intentionally feeding.

Know that the punishment system operates on a ladder system. Getting hit with another punishment results in increasing punishments. With perma-ban often the step after the 14-day if the 14-day is recent.

I'm done, I'm not going to continue explaining my opinion. You're free to consider it or ignore it. But I'll tell you that support is extremely likely to see this chat log as punishable as well so there is little hope in Riot overturning this.

I still keep my statement that people should not be banned for telling useless players that they are useless and I still think that players that destroy games and troll should be banable as you cannot kick a bad player out of a team and replace him with a bot, but on the other hand you can always mute a player that tells you that you are useless although you are in fact 0/20 and have 0 influence on game.

Furthermore I don't think that stuff like "sell skin" should be banable and this actually worries me most. You should not be punished for something like that, this is some kind of a madness. What's next? Ban for telling someone to switch their spell to a teleport or telling someone that he should start red instead of blue? Guys seriously? Whats wrong with you?

I threw the 0/20 game because I felt bored and my team didn't want to surr and yes, I agree that I should be punished for doing that (I threw the game because I didn't want a punishment for going afk) because that was not right and it was unsportsmen behavior towards my teammates, however I did that to finish the game earlier and avoid extended queue. If I knew that I would get punished for that with a ban(which would be something rightful to do) I would not do that, as I would try to avoid the ban and go for extending queue or just play the game normally.

Unfortunately Riot doesn't punish for something like that, what stops me then for going another game with 0/20 if I feel bored and my team doesn't want to surr? What stops me for doing that? Riot doesn't care.

I didn't even get a notification or honor decrease for those 0/20 and 2/12 games. I guess you can punch someone in the face and you will get away with it, but you cannot tell someone to sell a skin cuz that's a permanent ban straight away...

This is called "double standards". I don't like what Riot did to the game.

The system is garbage. RIOT thinks its fine but the system encourages bad players to ruin games and because RIOT has their heads so far up their rear ends this is what we have to deal with. I am almost 100% sure that the leadership at RIOT were bullied as children and now they have the con they abuse it in the same way, allowing bad players to ruin games. RIOT has no pride in their game because they allow shitty players to remain with no punishment. Old days online, the trash would be blacklisted if they didn't improve. Today, it's mostly about money and nothing to do with making a good game with a good environment and good players. Just played a 50 minute ARAM because all TEN players were good at the game. No weak links like RIOT encourages. Would be very nice if we could have more games like that but the bad leadership at RIOT won't allow it. It's all about the green to the poor leadership at RIOT games. There is nothing to be proud of at all. Most of them idiots always dreamed of making a great game and most of them idiots shit all over the gaming community because of greed. SHAME ON THEM.

This system is a joke. It punishes the good player and rewards trolls.

If I would get punished for that 0/20 game I would have since then stop feeding and start playing well. The game would make me to be a good player, else I would get punished, but it didn't..... that means that I can destroy as many games as I can and no punishemnt.

For riot destroying a game is somehow something good or neutral, but saying something on chat is banable.... this is not right. That 0/13 yasuo could always mute me, but I couldn't make him stop inting.

They only reverse bans placed in error. This ban was clearly not an error, as you did break the rules or the terms of use. You cannot harass and insult players. If someones words are offending you, you should stick with muting, or just telling them theyre wrong. Dont spam, dont insult, keep your chat neutral or positive and you will never be punished, unless you int or grief.

It proves that Riot does hand out punishments for intentional feeding. Will they catch everyone? Of course not. The issue with intentional feeding is the normal variety of feeding is completely fine. So proving beyond reasonable doubt that someone was intentionally feeding with the purpose of causing their own team to lose is many times more difficult than showing a person is in control of their own behavior in chat.

You're already banned. If they issue you another one for the intentional feeding it would be for 14-days or that it will be part of your current punishment anyway. Standard policy (and they replied back to me as such) is to not inform people what their decision is due to privacy concerns.

And from what it sounds like it might as well be a permanent ban anyway without any interference by Riot.

Also the idea for banning immediately after things like "useless jg" is ridiculous, as people will just create a new account. I think that all of this is designed for that - to force people to get new accounts and make them buy exp boost and champion bundles for RP so they wont spent another decade collecting all champions.

I can see the direction that all of this is taking and I don't like it. This is much worse treating of players than forcing them to buy lootboxes by EA. I wont be playing league anymore.

Alright, was just lettin ya know how they deal with chat. I dont really have an absolute opinion on it, I just know how it works. If you do decide to int and troll, you probably will get away with it for a long time, which is a flaw for sure (ok i guess thats an opinion lol). All i know, is how to avoid punishments for chat and what will get punished, from years of checkin these boards while im at work. I haveseen punishments for inting and trolling, but they are far and few between.

Oh and i do have an opinion on free to play models and i think they suck. Just pay for a gameand unlock all content. The idea of paying to unlock content with real money, is a fuckin greedy ploy. I hate it, personally.

K, ty for normal answer. This is unusual here on boards. People here are Riot fanatics. They don't any logic and reasoning come through. If I would be banned for saying "I like cookies" they would probably say that I deserved it because it was a white supremacist, racial comment about LGBT feminist that likes eating cookies. Just check out the Cyberpunk drama rn. Madness.

People here are probably counting on a Rioter seeing their comment defending Riot and giving them place in Riot games as an award for their good work xD but that's just my theory.

Anyways as you said it's better to pay and have full content a f2p game will always try to force taking money from you. I used to play CS, LoL etc. but actually recently I went for games like Sekiro and other single player ones and I have to say.... I have never been so happy with the content I got.

Now after the ban I made by mind. I quit on lol.

If Riot treats me like a sheep I don't see a point why I would play the game anymore. There are plenty of other games that offer better content and their creators will make a batter use of my money.
