14 days ban for inting as my first punishment in 8 years

I should probably start by explaining why I was even banned in the first place. If you don't care about that, just skip past the curved text.

I was banned for 14 days for intentionally feeding a normal draft game this morning. The last couple of days has been rough on me, I lost a close friend of mine, I found out girlfriend has been cheating on me and one of my close family members are about to pass away. Doesn't justify any of my actions, but I hope at least it'll give an understanding of why I reacted the way I did in my normal draft game. So this morning when I log into League of Legends, I decided I wanted to try out the new Akali rework and got into champion selection. It was my way of getting rid of any bad thoughts, and try to cheer up a bit. When I got into champion select, I click and hover Akali in the preparation phase, and then during the ban phase, my top laner goes ahead and bans Akali despite that I was hovering her. That's when things just snapped, I immediately put my mind on ruining this person's game out of frustration. I locked in Skarner, picked Ghost+Flash and went down middle lane and fed my top laner's opponent to the point where they themselves were complaining about their game being ruined.

This is the message I got after the normal draft game I played https://i.gyazo.com/ecd4f0ec476ccf2b328ea2b7282329c6.png

And here is the game mentioned https://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/3739670136/20608590?tab=overview

I know it was pretty bad, I did intentionally feed this game in an attempt to ruin Diana's experience. I don't think a punishment is unjust. But is there really nothing I can do to appeal this? It feels sort of weird that throughout the 8 years I've played this game, the 7000k+ games I've played and 0 punishments received (besides the chat restrict implementation when a large group of players got it), it was this one game where I snapped that I received 14 days restriction (next being perma) and stripped of rewards.

I don't know how Riot's ban system works, but I would really appreciate to have my punishment at least lightened a bit.

wow, that's so weird, you broke a rule and got the standard punishment for doing so.

who would've imagined?

Thank God Riot finally decided to ban people like u :) And btw nobody gives a shit, if you can't separate your emotions from a fucking videogame, don't play it. Last thing some1 wants to deal with are somebody1 else's private issues.

Hope you learned you lesson.

even if you tell player support how crap your life as and how you were feeling and what caused you to do what you did they won't give a damn. i have been there and done that and all they do is say you need to not be bad because you take away from peoples enjoyment. they really dont care. they literally just have the player support system just for the sake of having one. its pointless and helps no one.

And using your loss of that close friend as a form a of sympathy for being banned in league is disgusting

If you think that it's a justified punishment, why do you feel that you deserve the ability to appeal it?

I think this is the norm.

My first punshment also was a 14-days ban because I went dieing to the Baron for 5 minutes straight after I tilted (which didn't give any feed ot the enemy team so it reallyw asn't inting xD).

My first punishment was a 14 days ban for chat related issues. I did not get muted.

I think you got quite lucky.

Damn it i've lost this reply twice through the page refreshing while I'm typing!

Super paraphrased version: Sorry for your situation, can understand your mental state wouldn't have been the best at the time. Shouldn't be considered for the punishment though else Riot would be bombarded with sob stories they have no way of verifying.

Yes clean record is good, but clean record shouldn't excuse a major violation like inting. Players don't want people to get away without punishment for inting just because they haven't done it before. You could say the clean record is why you get a 14-day rather than a perma.
