14 Day For Joking With Friend

This is probably gonna be instantly down voted just because it's about a ban, but if you're reading, hear me out.

So yesterday I got instantly banned after a game for 14 days and I was shocked, because there was no warning beforehand or even any other punishments. I read through my chat log and noticed a few texts that could be considered toxic and I realized in the game I said kys. After some research it turns out that this was likely the reason for the 14 day.

But the thing is the context for this was that it was directed at a friend of mine who I know from school. He was playing Ezreal and he stole my kill with this insane Q and in the spur I just said kys to him. We always joke aggressively like this to each other and we were not in a call so I thought nothing of it.

I'm not saying I was completely innocent that game, as I did say lines that were toxic (one or two also to Ezreal again). But in the past my only punishment was a chat restrict where I was way more toxic in those 3 games than I was in this game. I also realize that the kys could seem like it was meant to anyone, but it wasn't in all chat and it was immediately after his ks. Yes I know joking with a friend can be unclear to the other teammates in our game. Yes I know I was toxic in the game but it didn't warrant any worse than something like a chat restrict other than the kys I said.

I have to say this part as well, and I know I'm gonna likely get flak for it, but it doesn't matter. I want to call out the community for being way too easily offended. Everyone has emotions, everyone reacts differently, everyone reacts to what you say differently, but there are so many other games where the harassment is worse and many people just move on because it's a game. Yes there are the few who don't move on because not everyone is the same, but a perfect community that isn't toxic? That's very hard to achieve because people will always get angry in a game as stressful as league and need to express their emotion. I'm not even trying to defend that my kys was innocent but just that this community is way too harsh towards people expressing HUMAN emotion (not that all of it is justified).
