Anyone else tired of the children's playground that Lyte made out of League?

so let me get this. we got a mute button but no one wants to use it. instead, they have to cry to mommy riot to punish anyone who is mean to them. we have a chat filter but no one uses it, instead profanity will lead to chat restriction. at the same time, in all the games i've been in, rarely does ANYONE care if a player is griefing or refusing to play by simply laning. these players don't ever get reported. the only thing people care about is if someone said something mean to them. that is the only thing people report for. what is wrong with this community?

This is like your 3rd or 4th post in the past day that i have seen, that says basically the same as all the other ones. Did you get banned or something and now you're salty or what?

Players shouldn't need to rely on features like the mute button or language filter to engage with other players in positive ways. When a player verbally abuses another player and forces him to use the mute button, they have already created a negative experience for that player. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203066050-Tribunal-FAQ#h1q2

Your report has roughly as much power as everyone else's. Punishment is calculated per match, not per report, so it doesn't matter if other people are choosing to report as long as you are. How are you coming to the conclusion that people don't report it anyway?

Not really, I have no problem with the community being "crybabies" in fact, I don't notice it at all. Theres nothing wrong with that part of the community. Several posts later, nobody agrees with you. People DO get banned too. What does this sound like? Well it sounds to me that since there is no problem with them, the problem here might be YOU.

It's not that I'm offended by insults. I quite understand I'm a far better person than the other. I'm annoyed by insults. I'm annoyed that I'm trying to play while someone is harping on every minor mistake.

Let's go with the yapping dog scenario.

There are 5 players in a room. One of them is a tiny yappy dog. The shrill annoying kind. Four players on the team are trying to concentrate. The fifth is a yappy dog. He's playing, but he's also yapping. I do something wrong. Maybe I give up first blood. It happens, nobody is perfect, and the dog comes over to me and starts yapping right at me as I'm trying to concentrate on playing.

If they eventually go away, I won't report them. But if that dog keeps yapping and yapping and yapping, attacking my ears like the sting of bees at every moment while I'm trying to make up for the mistake I made, it detracts from my play. In fact, I've had a jungle so on my case I ended up giving up two towers trying to wrest blue from him because he wouldn't give me blue or come into my lane because of a single missed gank. At a certain point, the yapping gets so distracting I can't play.

So I ask the management to come over and remove the yapping dog. League of Legends is a game after all, I'd like to play it and enjoy it and relax without yapping dogs. Most players don't want a yapping dog.

I got banned for two weeks once by sticking up for myself from a toxic feeding top lane and his pre-made bot friend (I was jung). Now I don't even respond to other players unless its to coordinate something. Not worth the effort.
