Just Completed The Support Ticket To Have My Account Deleted
EDIT: Come on now, it's only been up a minute, I know you didn't read and then downvote, but what else can I expect from this community.
I've tried quitting before, but only came back a few weeks later, but now this account will be deleted. It makes me sad, because League has the potential to be a great game, but it never will, it's only getting worse as time goes on. I started in preseason 5, but the game took a major shift when the juggernaut reworks came out, and things have only gotten worse since then. I wish I'd started playing LoL sooner so I could've played more before it came to this.
I have spent 1000's of hours on League, I don't regret it, but I can't see myself spending anymore on it. My account will be permanently deleted with no possibility of being recovered. I don't even know if this post you're reading now will remain after it's been done.
I'm fine with losing games, I'm fine with being low elo, and I'm fine with champions being unbalanced, but what I'm not fine with is

A report system that does nothing A few days days ago I played against the most toxic team I've ever come across, the entire enemy team mocked my team the entire game for no other reason than they could, at one point they even apologized that we had to play with them and then continued to be toxic laughing about how reports won't do anything. While they were extreme, this is not at all uncommon in League. A report button is nice for when you need it, but you shouldn't need to use it every other game or every third game. I've been playing Dota 2, you only get a very small number of reports, but you can be damn sure they'll do something if you report someone who's genuinely toxic, and if they are punished you get another report to use. I'm convinced at this point that Riot won't fix the report system because if they did so much of their playerbase would be banned that it would noticeably hurt revenues. Honestly, after the game with those toxic players, I went on the boards and wrote and extremely toxic comment to the first random person in my inbox paraphrasing what the toxic players in my game said, I got banned from the boards for 1 day. It was my first offense so a light punishment is to be expected, but 1 day was not nearly enough consequence for what I said. It was really just an experiment to see if anything would happen. Something did, but if you said the exact same things in game nothing will happen.

Not having a sandbox mode There is literally no reason at all for there to not be a sandbox mode. Riot says it could hurt new players, when it's been proven by every game that has a sandbox mode that it's one of the best possible tools for new and experienced players to practice parts of the game. So far Riot has backtracked and stated that they were wrong to shut down the idea completely, and that their "open to the idea". http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/announcements/riot-pls-dynamic-queue-sandbox-and-league-2016 That's Riot talk for never going to happen, ever! This is a comment from Reddit that hits the mark perfectly.
> Imagine being a football player and thinking to yourself: "I'm not as good at penalties as I'd like to be. They're pretty important. Me taking one could win or lose my team a game." And instead of being able to go out in the field with just a ball and an empty net and maybe a buddy to play GK and take as many shots as you want over and over again... FIFA steps in and says: Players want to practice very specific skills without the constraints of a regular game. For this point, our stance is that practice is not the way to go. We want to make sure we’re clear: playing games of football should be the unequivocal best way for a player to improve. While there are very real skills one can develop in a hyperbolic time chamber, we never want that to be an expectation added onto an already high barrier to entry. You're just gonna have to play in real games and hope you get the opportunity to take some penalties.

Riot lying about soloQ Why should I or anyone for that matter, play a game made by a company that respects its playerbase so little that it would outright lie to them. I get that some of Riot's comments could be interpreted that SoloQ may or may not come back, but that's just a pathetic semantics excuse, we all know what Riot was saying and what they wanted us to think. We can say for a fact that Riot only announced SoloQ to quiet us down so that we might eventually forget about it. You know what Riot, that might work on most of your playerbase, but it won't work on me. Not to mention Riot's incredibly misleading poll saying that more players prefer DQ.

The indefinite banning of Tyler1 It's not that he was indefinitely banned, it's that he wasn't indefinitely banned sooner. It should have taker nowhere close to as long as it did for him to be dealt with permanently. The length of time it took for Tyler1 to be dealt with is a testament to how much you can get away with before Riot will actually take drastic action appropriate to the situation. 19 banned accounts and then you indefinitely ban someone? I'm not playing a game with such incredibly low standards. Also the community response to Tyler1's banning was shameful, and the sheer amount of support for him was disgusting. That fact that so many people defended him shows what a large percentage of this community has the mindset that what he does is acceptable. I hold Riot accountable for this, because if they had a report system that wasn't just a button for decoration, then Tyler1 and players like him would actually be put in check, but this is not the case.

On one last note, I know I said I'm fine with champions being unbalanced, but the way they are now is a major detraction from the game, and on top of everything I feel they would eventually cause me to quit on their own. The other problems are bad, but when a games not even actually fun to play anymore, all I can do is put on my tinfoil hat and proclaim "The end is nigh". Right or wrong, League's in serious trouble, I'm just one worthless fuck quitting, I don't make a difference to this huge game, but when Overwatch comes out, it's going to rip League a new asshole.
It really hurts to permanently delete an account I've put so much time into building up, champion roster, runes, masteries. I could honestly cry, I've actually teared up a few times, but it's not me, it's Riot, and if you think otherwise, then you can go ahead and keep supporting a company that doesn't respect you enough to even tell the truth. It's been a decent year and half with League but that chapters over, it's time for me to move on.
What am I doing now? I'm learning to program, not as hard as I thought it would be, I'm already doing simple stuff in Python. I'm also reading more. Dota 2's not really as fun, probably because I haven't thrown myself in to conquer the learning curse, but still. Blade and Soul looks good, guess I'll try that.
Now finally the hardest part, saying goodbye to my favorite champions QQ oh god the tears.

I'll miss you all so much :( damn you Riot, putting me through this.
And those that died before I quit
, Shaco's due for a rework eventually, it's better i quit now so I don't have to see how Riot ruins him QQ.
TL;DR Fuck my life, I'd love to keep playing, but Riot...........
