They're both terms that mean the same thing: To belittle a player and making them feel like they're less important than you because you're underaged, compared to "retarded", meaning that you're still less important and that your thoughts mean nothing because you're mentally handicapped.

Seriously though, I get really fucking triggered when people use this word against me because I know they get away with it. They can call me a racial slur or mentally unstable all they want, it's the words that "aren't" toxic that piss me off.

I think that's a bit far. People use kid all the time. Many people call their children "kids" regardless of how old they are. I know grandparents who call their adult children "kids." Just because someone is referring to you as "kid" doesn't mean they are insulting you in the same way as someone calling someone else a "retard."

Kid in and of itself isn't inherently meant offensively. Since the medical community stop using the word "retard" it has absolutely no medical usage whatsoever now and is solely for the purpose of insulting and offending.

If you're taking it that personally, maybe you should look at why you are taking it so personally.

If you feel insulted by someone then report them. But I'm not going to report people for calling me kid since I don't feel like it's an insult or belittlement worth reporting, and you can't force me to report people for that just as I can't force you to not report people for it.

As far as your behavior in this thread, I'm not sure how you can expect people to take you seriously when you're responding back with insults such as "bitch-boy", "pussy", and "millennials" in a derogatory light.

All of which I believe are more insulting than calling someone a "kid", something that everyone is at some point in their life.
