1 easy way to help new players feel welcomed

If you are smurfing, please remember that you are playing with new player's who will make mistakes that you would not see on your main account. This is important since when I was playing as a smurf I saw some other smurfs who tended to chastise new players for making mistakes that from a smurfs prospective seems stupid, but to a new player in not the first thing to come to their mind (I.E Don't chase Singed/ Shaco/ Teemo, Don't Tower dive Singed/ Fizz/ Heimerdinger, Don't go too far without vision, etc.). If we do this then the new players won't feel so terrible and are more willing to continue playing and learn. Now we can note to them that what they did was not a good idea, but we don't need to be so toxic about it. Just remember that you were a new player once too, and that you made many of these mistakes that they did.

remember, not everyone is a smurf

To be fair. Even if they are a smurf there's no reason to be a jerk.

Up voted because it reminded me of the most important rule of the summoners code "always help newbies"

Ways to be less of a jerk while smurfing: -play the 1v2 lane if there is one -if youre laning vs non smurfs give them the option to farm with you once youre in a position to stomp them. -dont jungle unless they actually want you to -let the new players have kills. They feel good and you dont need the kills anyway -dont expect a skilled team. Youre fucking smurfing

I like to smurf and welcome enemy new players with my renekton.........heheehehehahahahahaahahahaaaaaa I just spam laugh and destroy 1v2 in lane...double kills for days...and then they learn to fear the renekton ever since their first encounter :P

This will never get fixed. See, a large portion of the problem comes when rito just bans toxic players' accounts. They just create new accounts and flame new players.

I don't want new players to feel welcomed, I want them to feel intimidated. A bunch of happy go wishy washy fucktards feeling "welcome" means that their shit gets taken into consideration in terms of game development.
I want them to bow down, I want them to respect the old guard. The fuck would I want them to feel welcome to this game?

Imo smurfs are part of the reason the new player experience is bad. It's not so much fun when you have a smurf lee sin that just kills everyone

You forgot about not staying in lane low vs Warwick . Made so many people rage playing him on my EUW account while trying to level it up.

This is kinda making me want to make a smurf... Do I need to be in ranked or get banned before I do that?

Smurfing SHOULD be about helping those lower level people understand and love the game, giving tips on those "Well, duh." things that we have down in muscle memory, but isn't obvious to anyone who doesn't play mobas.

HAVE FUN. If you're not having fun, then there's no point to playing.

If you don't see your opponent, tell your team.

Make sure to get the killing blow on EVERYTHING YOU CAN.

Towers hurt a lot early game, but later on, they are laughable if you are the tank.

A balanced team is better than an all assassin comp.

If you are not the tank, usually not a good idea to jump in first.

Laugh at the missed wall jumps you do, and learn from them.

EDIT: Also, if you learn the support role and do it decently, you will have no room on your friend's list, because everyone will love you.
