Client Feature Request: Self-Imposed Chat Restriction

For the new LoL client, I'd like to request the ability to impose chat restrictions on myself. Being able to set the timer between new texts and the number I can store.

I get tilted by my teammates feeding pretty easily and I have found that I play a lot better under chat restrictions (I've been chat restricted twice in 4 years) than I do under normal circumstance. I would love to be able to set up a chat restriction in the client that can't be changed in the game. Kind of like how language filter works.

I know when I'm tilted and have had ton of times when I thought to myself how great a feature like this would be. Sure, a lot of people probably would never use it, but I guarantee you I'm not the only one smart enough to understand my emotions to the point where I'd restrict my own chat.

Ideally, I'd set it at 5 messages with a new one coming in once per minute. That way I can't engage in a conversation even if I tried, but wouldn't feel bad wasting chat messages on some of the fun banter that can happen in game.

You guys have all these rules that shut down people for doing bad stuff, but you never give us any tools to help us help ourselves. Please consider this. I think it would be very useful.

Edit: I love how people downvote this and offer no viable solutions themselves. All the top posts in this forum are people whining. Surprise, surprise. There's no downside to having this. You don't have to use it if you don't want to, it doesn't affect anyone other than yourself, and it would absolutely reduce the number of toxic people by some amount. The only cost to this is the integration time by the engineers at Riot as they have to put UI in to allow yourself to see the variables they switch on and off for their chat restriction feature.
