Unbanning Permabanned Players?

I recently got permanently banned from League of legends on an account that I've been using for almost 5 years now. How can I repeal the ban or prove that I have reformed? I know a lot of people say that if you've gotten permabanned, you don't deserve another chance, and that Riot is not willing to repeal any bans, but I have serious anger management issues which got the better of me in the last game I played with my friends. I would also like to note that I never received a chat suspension, or if I did it was so long ago that I cannot even remember. I think it was 4-5 months ago that I got a 2-week ban, and I hadn't been toxic since that until this one game. I've never fed or trolled in games, and I'm more than willing to disable /all chat if I return on this account. I know that it is possible to remove a permanent ban.

Permanent means permanent. The only way it can be removed is if it was placed incorrectly.

Riot uses a tiered punishment system, where any punishment will increase your tier to a more harsh punishment. The 14 day ban is the final punishment before a permanent ban, so something minor can push you over the edge. Depending on what you say you can also skip the two levels of chat restriction and jump directly to the 14 day ban.

This image explains it in a visual way if that helps.

The TL:DR of it is your account is gone. You're free to make a new one, but once you make it past the 14 day ban phase there is no getting your account back.

Hey there, I have had anger management issues in the past too. That doesn't excuse our past behavior though, especially if it caused others to suffer.

It sucks to lose your account, but that's the way of things. Take it as a sign that you might need to do more to handle your anger than you have been doing. Try a therapist, I've seen them a few times in the past to help me with my own issues and it worked great. The stigmas are silly, therapists are actually great. And if you haven't tried one yet then you're missing out on a great opportunity to outgrow problems that have held you back in life.

Contact Riot Support and plead your case, ask for leniency, commit to being sorry, and they may drop it to a 2-week ban instead. Unless you were just being intolerably unforgivable in your behavior.

I'm genuinely curious as to why this post is getting downvoted. I'm not denying any wrongdoing, but I'm trying to be civil and ask if there is any way I can get unbanned. I'm not like those people who get banned, come to the boards, and complain even more further justifying their ban.

While Necromancy may be handy (and sometimes needed) in video games, it's not the case for old forum threads. Please avoid using such magic and be mindful of how old threads are before posting.

Feel free to contact us at the Moderation Discord or at Discuss the Boards for any questions, comments or concerns about this. Thank you and have a good day.
