The Mute Button Exists for a reason

I think the point he is making is don't engage toxic people, just mute them

It's just that I'm always seeing these whiners on the boards being told basic things like "kys noob" or "uninstall you suck" I thought the PB&M boards would be for stuff COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE (eg: heavy racism, wrongly banned, etc.) but alas, people are salty. and they want to whine on the message boards for attention

You obviously don't come on the board as often. There are people who spourt out a lot a racial slurs and the likes, thinking they can get away with it. But you also have to remember there are different tiers of punishment. For light toxic things more often than not the person punishments is probably only chat restrictions. But it goes up the more frequent the are with unacceptable behavior. You also have to remember that you are playing with real life people. And what you might find ok, could be offensive to others, but just being a decent human being will get you far!

the mute button is for people who dont want to deal with assholes. if you respond to the troll/player, you are subversively feeding(no pun intended atm) the troll. just look at COD trolling videos on youtube, if the "picked on" mutes/shuts up, the video ends. it's pretty much the same way for league trolls/salts, mute the player/dont respond and you wont hear him anymore
