Really though. I don't care if in some cases it actually helps. All I know is that trolls do this to mess with people and the fact that there are no measures in place to stop this is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Why doesn't Riot fix simple things like this? Or at least let us report people for doing it.

Let's say you wanna play vayne, but you're last pick and nobody can pick her for you, i might ban her just to avoid the enemy team getting vayne.

Designing a system around outliers is generally considered to be a bad move. Trolls are outliers, and I see no reason why we need to troll-proof everything in League.

Build everything around the people who follow the rules, and then work to remove the people who do not.

well I mean your not required to declare an intent if there is an actual troll whos gonna ban your champ. you can either not declare one, or declare one you don't intend to play and let them ban that one, then switch to your actual champ ;)

but generally there is a strategical sense to this. like when zoe first came out, if you weren't within the first 2 picks, shes banned, because OP
