They don't realize it's an automated system with certain trigger words such as "kys" and saying that or the n word is immediately punishable, even when used in a joking manner or even when not directed at anyone. you should send out a notification to League players about this.

OP spoke in broad strokes. You're referring to specifics that weren't even included in this discussion, and they're very much exceptions. And even in regards to those corner cases, my original point applies: When you identify that somebody is abusing the chat system, repeating literally the words that they use is the worst possible reaction. The intersection in the Venn diagram of people who act that way, with people who would receive and retain an announcement warning them against that sort of behavior, seems extremely small to me.
Fortunately, as we've seen on these boards, folks who DO fall into that trap can often have it undone via a support ticket.
I'm generally in favor of more transparency on Riot's behalf, which is why I do partially agree with OP's sentiment. However, I'm also constantly surprised by the degree to which people attempt to circumvent the system to remain toxic, so I'm guessing Riot has their reasons for NOT providing transparency on certain issues. One hypothetical reason against this announcement: Anybody who continues to violate the rules in this way would immediately blame Riot for not making the announcement more visible, or at a better time, or any number of other excuses. In a f2p game like League, Riot needs to be careful with what blame they accept for the actions of their players, or else appropriate bans and other punishments become more difficult to justify.

The thing is: OP said, we should remind people, that using these words in ANY context can lead to ban - Your response somehow to this thing was: "Should people really need a reminder that hate speech and telling somebody to kill themselves isn't appropriate behavior?" The fact that NOBODY EVER in this thread said that we should remind ppl that telling somebody to commit suicide is bad", yet you still asked the question about this implied me that you didn't understand OP's idea.
And actually an announcement that "writing KYS, no matter what context do you use it in, can lead to ban" is a totally correct announcement, they don't say that they will ONLY ban you if you write this, they just give a little help to reduce the number of unfair bans. And if anybody complains about not getting an announcement about the "%%%%%%" word, they can not care about them, like they don't care about anybody who complains about trolls. So Riot doesn't give a fck about a part of the playerbase, so I'm sure they don't have to worry about blaming (they will be blamed, but just don't care about it).
