Dishonored Horror

So I had a moment of weakness and basically spammed chat with abusive and degrading comments concerning the gameplay of others (ergo. calling some trash, uninstall, etc.) and I got what I deserved a nice 2-week ban.

Since then I have had my level 3 honor rank stripped and have been queued with some of the worst toxic people I've played with over the last 3 years. Most of the time the queues are always filled with dodgers taking more than 10+ minutes to even get into a match - even though I am quoted a 2-minute estimated time to play. Now every match I play is filled with leavers, constant verbal abuse, and just non-stop unbalanced games that most of the time I feel so disconnected I no longer want to play this game - was this the result of being 'dishonored' ?!

Nope. This is just an unlucky streak. Honor is not involved in match-making in any way, specifically because it sucks to be stuck in a super toxic environment when trying hard not to be toxic yourself. It'll still sometimes happen due to simple mathematics (SOMEONE has to get a bad run, statistically), but it's not by design.

Sorry you're encountering that level of toxicity though. Hope it gets better soon!

The honor system is meaningless and is more of a popularity contest than anything else.

Wait, you mean to tell me 15 minute queues arent normal for sportsmanlike players? Well that explains the horribly misleading "estimated queue time". Welcome to the world of dishonorable players. It doesnt matter how long ago you last misbehaved - you are hereby stuck with this status and matchmaking for at least four months (and counting) of good behaviour before your honour status changes.
