Flamed all match because I went to try a platinum rank singed's guide

So I was looking at singed guides and i found one that looked like a good idea, So what you were supposed to do was build ryliali so that you could escape and you were supposed to die multible times so that your worth of gold goes down essentially making you not worth gold (SIMILAR TO YOSMUUS DARK SEAL TRYNDAMERE) And I was doing well I was doing what the guide told me to do get the attention of them and just have them go into your poison trail how is this fair to get flamed for trying a guide whilst they were doing just as bad as me maybe even worse

Different strategies are realistic in different ELOs. That guide might be appropriate in platinum, but in Bronze, it's basically just intentional feeding. Manipulating gold values in order to effectively split push might work if your team is conscious of your strategy and is playing effectively around it, but if they're attempting to 4v5 team fight and have to deal with a fed top laner due to your voluntary deaths, you're going to lose and likely get flamed for it.

You died eighteen times in a 31 minute game, and your strategy resulted in zero towers taken, low CS, and an extremely fed enemy Yasuo who clearly made the rest of your team's lives a living hell for that half hour. I wouldn't be surprised if you get action taken against your account for intentional feeding that game.

If you're dying multiple times purposefully that will be construed as intentionally feeding. It doesn't matter if it's your strategy or not, purposefully dying is much different than trying to proxy farm and dying a couple times from that.

Did the guide not tell you that x number of minions reset your gold bounty after the patch more than a year ago? Also you're not suppose to die on purpose. The point is to draw attention, not to die multiple times. Dying is just an unfortunate consequence of proxy-ing, not the goal.

FWIW, gold resets on kills, assists, or sufficient farm, so suiciding to better proxy is no longer a viable strategy.

Also, the original strat is to proxy and kit care if they kill you, not to suicide.

Proxy Singed is a fine strat if you know what you are doing.

You need to kill the minions behind the enemy tower, and let your minions kill the enemy tower. Yes it's OK to get pressure and die for it but you need to keep them busy as long as possible. It's a useless strategy if your enemy top can just tank the minions and wave clear them without your minions crashing into their tower. Even more useless if you can't CS properly.

People will flame you, cos it is an off-meta strategy that they aren't used to and don't know how to play around it.

If you are going to play this strategy, I suggestion you look up some YouTube videos on how to move around the map and dodge things as proxy Singed. After that, be prepared to be flamed for it.

You seem to have gotten a proxy Singed guide from 5 seasons ago. Dying to turrets to lower your gold value doesn't work any more. Gold value doesn't go down so much, and resets off assists and farm now also.

Dude you're gonna get flamed at times when you're not even trying an unordinary strategy. It just happens. And that's not even feeding to the level that you fed. Of course you got flamed!

The point of dying a lot isn't just to give them kills and lower your value. It's to get shit done as you're dying. You can't just die. You gotta do something that builds towards a victory with your deaths. Make them chase you all over for a minute so their jungler and laner(s) waste time, while your jungler gets ahead. There's a whole big strategy around that build, and it isn't gonna work with random low ELO strangers.
