I got honor 3... Legit don't think I deserve it.
I feel like I'm a bit of a dueche in game... Never thought I'd get it. I mean if I just play nice for 10 games in a row and everyone honors me does that redeem my previous 50 duechey games?

The fact that you're reflecting on it, instead of celebrating that you're gaming the system means it's doing its job.
The way i see it, you're obviously doing something right. Dont waste it.

Nope.
It's possible to get honor 5 then get a chat restriction to instantly drop down honor1.
Plus honors are about consistently being good, chat restrictions / punishments are about consistently going against the ToS.
I got honor three during a game where I wasn't even honored. I have no idea how the system works.
With my limited understanding of the honors system, you gain passively small amount of honors regardless of whether you get honored or not. Being honored just add more on top of what you already gained by being neutral in those games. So getting to the next honor level just mean you need to play a lot of games, whether being honored or not, while not being punished. Again, this is as I understand it.
Kind of making this new honor system a little less.....prestigious
Congrats on hitting level 3. I've been grinding, yet haven't reached it.
Pretty sure you honoring others also boosts your honor. So if you don't skip on honoring someone every other game, you'll get more honor.
I'm kinda under the impression that the entire system is pretty adorable when it comes to actual "honoring", as in lower ELO's you could probably swap in/out the honor percentages from teams and win percentages and get roughly the same result. Unless your team has duo buddies, then hard carries will often result in honor and losses will often result in noone honoring anyone with the occasional report threatening. It's a neat system, but until the stench of newness goes away people will use it more to reflect the skill of the players and less of their actual attitudes.
When i play with my 4 man premade we just honor the 1 random because are honor wont count unless we do "also for putting up with are shitposting"
