Teemo called me a "shit smelling dick ball" or why I don't like automated reports

Teemo called me a "shit smelling dick ball" because I took her cannon minion.

I told teemo her lips would better serve wrapped around my cock than calling me names.

Yi asked Teemo of her titties were "rumpled".

Teemo threatened to kick Yi in the nuts.

Udyr and Shen has a lively discussion about if it was okay for them to call each other "%%%got" seeing as they're both gay.

Lux wondered aloud if the Holocaust was really such a bad thing when Udyr killed her.

For this we all got warnings.

From the outside it looks like messed up behavior, but we're all friends. Teemo and I are actually married. Nobody was offended (or sober). Everyone laughed.

Automated systems miss this critical context. There should be a way to play the game in kind of an unmoderated party mode. Maybe people select if they want moderated or unmoderated before queueing.

Okay, here's the thing. You say you all got warnings. If that's really all you got, than the system is working as intended. Warnings simply mean that you have been reported more than usual lately, and that's it. They don't necessarily mean that you're being punished or that you will be punished. Also, the system that sends out these warnings DO NOT check to see if reports are valid or false, it only checks to see if you got reported. The actual punishment system, on the other hand, does check for false reports before issuing punishments.

That being said, if you guys are all friends, I'm assuming that you were in a 5 man premade. If you are all okay with what you were saying and you said it in team chat only, then fine, that's totally up to you. However, as mentioned before, it would be wise to not bring that kind of chat into /all chat, because you have no idea who your opponents are or what they may think about what you say.

Of course, if you're in a custom game and everyone knows each other, then, again, that's fine.

Also, one final note, even if you are all friends and you believe that everyone is fine with what is being said, but you still get reported, but you still get reported, then maybe someone wasn't okay with what was being said.

The system only reviews your chat logs if another player reports you. Maybe it was someone on your team, maybe it was the enemy team. If you were a 5 man only talking in team chat and no one reported each other, there wouldn't have been warnings. So one of those factors is not the case.

While I understand the situation, why are you guys using chat or /all chat? It seems like you all would be friends in real life, why not use voice chat? I get that you may be trying to be funny, but if I saw stuff like that from the enemy team, or even on the same team, I'd report you.

There should be a way to play the game in kind of an unmoderated party mode. Maybe people select if they want moderated or unmoderated before queueing.

I'm down for this idea though.

Just an FYI using terms like "%%%got" is looked down upon much more harshly than regular toxicity. They may be gay in real life, but still I would advise against saying things like that.

When the Tribunal was active, this kind of thing was never a problem, because the system automatically edited out all team chat from full 5-man premades before displaying the case. I suspect that the system still does this.

Cool Story Bro.

Can't code for the exception to the rule. Sorry, but all instances that can be perceived negative need to be dealt with the same way. If you cant to talk dirty to your wife... y'know... turn to the person sitting next to you...

That being said, the system also analyzes pattern behavior. So these conversations would have to be in quite a few of your games and if they do issue a real penalty for it then you do have real grounds to appeal.

Lastly, I curse like I was raised in a whore house. I do it a lot and my "take tower at top" is more of a "beat that facking tower down hard, they're all bot". I get a lot of warnings and no penalties. I think the system sees my actual "offensive language" and realize it's not negative and moves on.

I'm confused as to who reported all of you if you were a 5 man pre-made team.

Eh, if you got a warning don't sweat it...It actually looks like it's be easy to tell that you were all joking with each other but meh, some people aren't so observative....

ED: P.S. A "shit smelling dick ball"?? lol

If you were premade, than don't do that in all chat. It irritates the enemy team and gets you reported.
