Now, I didn't know back then that if you write "kys" its an instant ban or something like that. Anyways, I think a suspension for a month is enough for this chat log. Now to all the people here who say : "bruh you wrote "kys" and "you suck" its bad" - Its just a game, why people take it so hard when a player gets angry. There are players like me in the community and will be always, nothing to do about it, but this is not the main thing in the post. I created another account after the ban - this account. I played it for like 8 months from the day I got banned and I am already level 92. I am reformed, not writing this sort of stuff in my games. What I wanted to ask is why the second suspension has to be a permaban and why riot can't let people reform.

People that dont reform after the 14 day ban that even tells that any further toxic behaviour will grant a permaban wont reform after a longer ban. If they wanted to reform they had the chance. If they need the permaban to show them what could happen then, well they needed it. Permabans are not lifted. If they were it wouldnt be as good of a detterent.

No, that's too harsh. The policy is that breaking Riot's zero tolerance policy (using hate speech or telling people to kill themselves) is worth a two week ban on the first offense, and I'm okay with that. However, it's an escalating punishment system. Each time you get punished, the next punishment is worse. If you've had a two week ban already, the next step is a permaban. For any bad behavior. You didn't even need the "kys". The rest of your chat is still negative enough to push you over the edge.

The two week ban was your second chance. Unless you had the two chat bans before that. Then it was your fourth chance. Personally, I think that if someone gets a two week ban on the first offense, then the next punishment should be a one month ban. Then a permaban. But I doubt Riot will change their policy any time soon.

I hear that Riot did try a system of unbanning players for a while... and it went very badly, so they completely stopped doing that.

If you were reformed, this sentence would read "I realize that 'kys' is something that should never be said". It shouldn't matter that you got banned for it. It should matter that you've come to the realization that it's not appropriate. Reformed players aren't looking for ways to not get banned. Reformed players have come to the realization that negativity is wrong.

To answer your question, even if you behave better in the future, Riot does not unban accounts which were not banned in error. A permanent suspension is permanent - not "permanent for 1 month".

the chat restriction gave a second chance. the 14day gave a third chance. no more chances after permaban. the ONLY way to skip the 14day is by hacking, scripting, account sharing, etc. cheating. so you got at least a 14day before your perma.

No reason to ban in the first place. Back when the system gave u a lot of chat logs I think people were more happy. 50 game chat restricts etc. League is dying now :/
