pretty stupid. no warning or anything and now I lose hours, days, of ranked grinding for end of season rewards. even if I played 3 games a day for the next 2 weeks 14 * 3 = 42 games I wouldn't be able to get back to honor 2 would I, my first punishment and it feels like a 20 day ban, cause whats the point of playing ranked if I can't get rewards

Actually, that 10 game chat restriction IS your warning. You can still play, you weren't banned yet. You've been warned.
Besides, you already knew that Riot set a the terms for end of season rewards, as well as the cut off date. Yet you chose to be toxic enough that Riot had to give you a punishment to make you realize it. Maybe now you'll learn to /muteall before the game, or just not type when people do something you're not proud of.

I think that missing out on a free skin is not that hefty of a price to pay.
