I can't count how many games I lost because people are raging typing, and it's not that it bothers me personally or that I can't mute them. Still there are so many people who wish to blame and rage and flame and subsequently throw throw throw. Before FF can there just be a vote to disable chat (based maybe on a 50% majority instead) for everybody on the team and incentivise pings instead?
Did you know: players who keep their fingers on the keys Q W E and R more than ASDF and JKL: win 42% more ranked games?
Pings aren't suppose to be the end-all solution to communication in LoL, they're just a quick heads-up in a tricky situation.
Why shouldn't I be able to type just because someone else can't control their fingers ? I have gotten plenty of good advice from other players and Yes the enemy team also :)
I rather Riot just come down hard on people who abuse the system and follow up with watching the smurfs of same people and keep punishing them where it hurts, eventually most will get the message.
Please never do this, and please don't make voice chat option either ( don't want anyone to hear what I don't type) lol
I'm not against all chat, just for having the option to get people focused on map awareness and the next team fight rather than deliberating. I'm not against conversations, more so distracting players who ought to be focused on mechanics instead. Put it to a vote!
Really depends on how one use's it. But, I'll agree there are a lot of people doing to much typing and not enough paying attention. How would you propose to keep chat but have people focused on the game anyways ?
Why don't you put a vote on your thread ? I have have to admit though I've seen people ask the same and it always ends up with people wanting chat to stay. And well you know what I think :)
