How did Riot not think of this?

I just played a normal match (blind pick) and i'm doing everything all normal and playing like usual. But then i get matched with 4 others that are all on the same group/clan and are like skyping/discord-ing. Turns out they're just queuing as 4 and trolling and annoying the other 1 that they get matched with and they would try to team kill him and at the end of the game they would all report him for absolutely nothing and 4 reports = probably a ban. I start playing and they're just trolling and feeding and spamming All chat. The other team had a Zilean, so the 4 on my team asked him to throw his timed bombs thingy on them and then they would come near me over and over till i die. And my team had a Shen and a Lee sin so they could easily come near me, lee sin's dash to an ally ability and shen's dash forward ability. they kept trolling and obviously wouldn't surrender therefore wasting like 30 mins or so. At the end of the match they reported me and then left to annoy and troll someone else. Riot made it so that the majority is the right no matter what. That's just not fair

Don't worry about reports. Premade groups reporting one person counts as a maximum of one report.

Fortunately, Riot did think about this. Reports from one premade count as just one single report, that's it. Riot made it like this specifically so that premade groups do not have any extra power over solo players when it comes to reports.

4 reports = probably a ban.

Also, this is not true. Reports alone simply trigger a review of the account. If the system finds something unacceptable, that's when a punishment is given. If nothing is found, though, then no punishment is given. So if you do nothing wrong, then it doesn't matter how many reports you get, you won't be punished.

Hope this information helps.

Except that's not how it works.

Ya as long as you did nothing wrong, their reports will do nothing. Obviously riot thought of that. I don't know why people assume what you thought.
