This is the first time I've been chat restricted, and it's going to be my last. From now on I'm just going to mute everyone immediately and not communicate whatsoever with my team, because we've raised a generation of pussies that get offended at literally anything and cannot take constructive criticism.
If it really was just constructive criticism, you wouldn't have been chat restricted. And not communicating at all can also get you in trouble. So, why not try just... not being rude? Is that too farfetched of a concept?

Okay it's apparent why you got chat restricted. I wouldn't say you necessarily have to mute everyone on the team before the game begins. Just stay positive and don't insult people. We all make mistakes, and people don't need to be reminded of them. You can't change the past. Don't dwell on it and just move forward. FYI, calling people pussies is not constructive. I would refrain from offering any criticism in game. People do not like to be told what to do and will only respond negatively to it. There are a few things that you can say like, "Hey let's focus so-and-so". "Let's try split pushing, ill push out top", "Prep for drag in 1 min." and "Try to ward their red". These are examples of relaying information and working together as a team. Saying things like "That was an awful initiation so-and-so", "you guys really threw", and "try to land at least one hook Thresh" are poor examples of teamwork and only reflect a pompous, big-headed attitude.
I get a bad feeling whenever I see one of these threads mention "constructive criticism". Most posters with threads like this one think "omg stop feeding or uninstall noob" is constructive criticism. Without chat logs to back you up, I would expect most people coming to this thread to reach that conclusion for you as well.
