No Sightstone on support reportable?

I main support. 98% of the time I get support. 1 game I didn' get support today, I got top lane. So that means the other support must have queued support specifically, he played Supportsticks (Fiddlesticks support).

15 minutes in, their lane is getting completely trashed, I notice he skipped Sightstone.

So, we ended up losing, he never got a Sightstone in the whole game (got Frostqueen instead).

I feel like this should be reportable, since its in bad faith with summoners code to not play your role correctly.

Of course it should not be reported.

It's not smart, but it's not reportable.

It's kind of like the jungler not buying machete, or people not buying pink wards or using their trinket. The first is just stupid, but the latter is far more common and we don't report for that despite it being equally detrimental as not having a sightstone.

As a support main since season 1, I hate people complaining at me to ward meanwhile they have 2 wards on their trinket, and havent placed any all game. As long as the support is placing 2 wards from their trinket all the time, and they are contributing very well without sightone, I dont see the reason to report. I personally when the games gets down to whos going to out damage the other team first, or has the tankiest tank etc, I sell sightstone. I wouldnt like to be reported by that one toxic player on my team because I decided to sell my sightstone for more dmg, ultitly, or tankiness, and I still placed all trinket wards, and then get punished by the tribunal because it didnt show up on my match history as ever having a sightstone

What I might suggest is a threshold of wards placed a game, for you to not be reported. Make it like 20 (that sounds right)? And code the ward counter correctly to not count people spamming down more than 3 wards within X amount of time. But if supports got a Threshold for wards, then the rest of the team would need like 15 wards, because it shouldn't be just the support warding when you have free wards. A support just places 3/3 instead of 2/3.

What?

I've carried tons of games as pure damage Annie support. Sightstone is for high elo dude (where hopefully there's a base line of competence). Down here, when you're matched with so many trolls and noobs, the Support often does better getting damage instead so there's an off chance they can damage carry.

actually you can report anything, if riot punishes is another story.

I been writing very detailed cases about the persons rank (if gold +) and saying that the player is trolling and throwing games by doing behavior that that they know is counter productive in game play. Stating that in other matches they get it a sight stone (i check) and that they are just trolling the game.

Riot system is supposed to be adaptable and learning. Riot has also stated that they want to reflect the community in the system. If enough people report it may become punishable some day.

Keep reporting it, but give logical reasoning why you are.

If I'm getting trashed by people I can't see, I'll get Sightstone.

If I'm getting trashed by people I can see, I'll get FQC.

Cause at least if we get ganked, we've drawn the jungler's attention and the rest of my team can make a play on the other side of the map, whereas otherwise we'll just keep dying in the 2v2 and the jungler is free to go snowball other lanes.
