Do you want to make a REAL difference?

This post goes out to all you flamers out there, yeah, you know who you are.

Now, if there is one thing I believe you should realize, is that flaming is not only a surefire way to get banned, it also accomplishes nothing.

So, without further ado, let's do this!

Pro tip #1 #Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.

This is what loses you most of your possibly winnable games, nine times out of ten. It's easy to see that Twitch on your team go a little bit too deep and end up feeding first blood along with a couple assists to the enemy team and just sit there and whine about how he could have played that better. But we're not here to do the easy thing, we're here to exert effort and make a difference.

So you've just learned that the Twitch on your team is a pretty risky player. Let's say you're the jungler in this scenario. You noticed that when Twitch fed first blood, his lane was pushed up and the enemy jungler showed up and turned a winnable 2v2 double kill first blood for your team into a 0/2 bot lane. You also noticed that when the enemy jungler showed up there was no vision of the river for the Twitch to react to and back off in time. Now, what you should do is note that bot lane is a bit lax on keeping their flank warded. Next time you come near bot lane, it would probably be a good idea to ward the river or tri-bush for your bot lane. It would probably also be a good idea to get deep vision in the enemy jungle so you can give your team ample warning when the enemy jungler is near them.

Notice how this different approach not only made a difference on the map, you also managed to stay silent and not needlessly harang Twitch for a simple mistake.

Pro tip #2 #Ping, ping, ping. (Aka, don't type)

Typing is a massive waste of time on summoners rift. It can cost you not only precious CS and missed opportunities, it can also be the direct cause of your death. Come on, we've all done it. Stopped to type a message in a spot you thought was safe but then that fish came flying out of nowhere and now you're being eaten by a shark and poked by an annoying fish person and now you're staring at a black and white screen going "Fuck my life." [zombie-brand-facepalm]

I shit you not, almost anything of value that can be said on the rift can be communicated through a ping instead. Use your pings, call those shots, lead on the Rift!

Pro tip #3 #Be a leader, not a flamer

I know that this tip probably feels redundant after the first two, but the fact of the matter is it's extremely important if you want to actually make a difference on the rift. I'll bet you 5 dollars that in a lot of the games you played, your flaming more than likely fell on deaf ears. If you flame, you're probably going to get muted. If you get muted, then when you actually have something useful to communicate, that will be blocked as well. The mute function isn't a filter, it's a wall.

Well, I hope this post was of some use to you guys and I wish you luck out there on the Rift!
